Ah, yes. I think the estimated opening reads have probably done me a little favour then (both over estimated, so more units consumed at lower PFP rate) £60 for 18 days use in late summer would be high for me.MWT said:
It should cover the period up to 11th September when BG were appointed as SoLR, the gap between then and the first BG invoice will be invoiced by BG now the final PfP invoice has been generated.Alpha_5 said:I have a credit showing on my account too. Its around £60 less than my balance when PFP went bust, but presumably covers the six weeks between my last (August) PFP statement and first (October) BG statement.0 -
No credit on my account, although I've left BG now and my account says closed so I'm guessing they can't credit it to that account. Will have to wait for final PFP bill (if it ever comes!)0

BG have updated have updated the PFP page at https://www.britishgas.co.uk/energy/pfp-energy.html with a message saying:
We are now receiving credit and debit information from PFP and will begin applying these balances to customer accounts in the next week - we will be in touch to let you know the amount when this happens. Credits for customers who are not with British Gas will take a little longer to apply and we’ll be in touch once this has completed. Any credit balance owing is protected by Ofgem. PFP will shortly also be sending through your final bills.0 -
Got my credit from PFP today as well. Less £49 which I guess was the final bill payment. The credit has disappeared into what I now owe BG £700!0

I got pretty decent credit for electricity but nothing for gas, I was in dispute due to faulty meter.0

Blimey, I've just had an email from BG to say they've received my PfP credit!

I've had my refund as well. £107.0

Refund received into my BG account (finally!!) was c.£20 up on actual usage. If I ever get a closing bill from PFP it will be interesting to see how they managed that - and whether other customers received similar bonuses - which might cost them a tidy sum if applied across the board.I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a self-satisfied pessimist0

It won't cost them (PFP, or BG for that matter) it will cost us.devondiver said:Refund received into my BG account (finally!!) was c.£20 up on actual usage. It's more than likely not a bonus though, probably using estimated or different final readings.
