I suspect that having corrected their errors on the 'guaranteed prices' on the SoLR tariffs they are now more motivated to block off access to the historic tariffs to avoid a flood of people heading there now they've made it clear the SoLR tariffs will be going up soon.

I wonder if BG will really honour these moves to tariffs that are already closed in the long term. I remember when BG installed a boiler for me which included a years free service. Several years later they tried to take me to court for not paying for it! And they had slapped on several years high interest to it as well. And despite being in the wrong it took over 6 months for them to agree they were in error. Never trusted them since on anything. Bunch of incompetent crooks!

I tried with the Zero tariff in December at least 5 times and got nowhere.

Yes they are correct, these tariffs are not available.
I got it eventually but failed at least 6 times.

Request from 10th of Feb didn't take in. But I contacted BG again today and quoted them chat where they told me, they are switching me to it. My tariff was changed on the spot and gas tariff was updated instantly online, but electricity still showing old one. I was assured both were changed and it will take up to 24h to refresh.

At least 50% success at 4th attempt. If electricity tariff is not updated, I will have to chase it again.

Today I have received a 'Miscellaneous credit' to my BG account which I can only assume is my credit balance from PfP. Hallelujah! No final PfP statement yet to show how it's been calculated but at least some cash has come back.

thanks, Mr P for that, just checked and I'm the same, more than I was expecting, so await final bill from PfP.

When I was with PfP, there was a referral bonus of £50 so maybe got that, though wouldn't expect administrators to pay it.

I have a credit showing on my account too. Its around £60 less than my balance when PFP went bust, but presumably covers the six weeks between my last (August) PFP statement and first (October) BG statement.

£60 would be low use for me in six weeks though, so hopefully we'll receive the satatements soon and can check it all out.

Just checked and I've also got a misc credit on my BG account - it's not as high as I was expecting, so will be interesting to see the final statements whenever they are issued...

It should cover the period up to 11th September when BG were appointed as SoLR, the gap between then and the first BG invoice will be invoiced by BG now the final PfP invoice has been generated.
