    Usually it gets done quite quick, so if it’s not done within 2-3 days then they have probably denied the request and not bothered to tell you.
    I’m only guessing based on experiences here because they are incompetent and inconsistent, but when it works it seems to be quite quick.
    what I did was get on the chat whilst I was doing something else e.g. washing up or watching tv, then waiting in the queue is not so bad.
    i got it on about the 9th attempt.
    which tariff are you trying for?
    i was denied zero fix about 8 times but got exclusive right away.

    Exclusive Fixed June 2023 mentioned here. Ok, if it takes couple of days, I will try again on Friday if tariff is not changed.

    I tried to jump as well on the Exclusive June 23 wagon today - done it through the chat, been told that everything looks fine and I shall switch in 24 hours to the new tariff, and that I will see this on the website in 48 hours. Fingers crossed. . .
    On a different note: has anyone received the final bill from PFP?

    Oh, just to update my previous post about switching to Exclusive Energy June 2023. I made a request via the webchat 30 minutes ago and it has already changed on my profile on the website ;-)

    No.
    my account updated a while ago but no bill for months.
    i owe them about £9 so maybe they won’t bother with me?

    It seems to depend, at least in part, on who you get - and perhaps on how you come across. When I switched a week or so ago Aisha said "I will raise a request to the team for the tariff change. This will update in 10 working days" - to which I said "Does it really have to take that long? I was rather hoping it could be done today". To which Aisha replied - "Okay. I'm doing it right now. This will take a few minutes - I'm sorry about the wait". And all updated in a few hours.

    So maybe just ask for Aisha (if he/she still has a job) - and turn on the charm.  :)

    I think it depends which team you get.
    that speculation but I get the impression some of them can’t do it and have to raise a request on another team.
    if you get the tarriff team by chance they might be able to.

    poor aisha, if my complaint is anything to go by she’s going to get a good talking to.

    Well, my 3rd attempt to switch to Exclusive June 23 ended with:
    "We've tried our best to register you on this tariff I'm sorry this tariff is now not available to register so we've a best current tariff which we can change it now so can I go ahead and help you with this and raise a complaint also about the issue you faced?"

    I tried with the Zero tariff in December at least 5 times and got nowhere.
