    Is anyone else still in limbo with their transfer? I still have no bill showing in my PFP account; my BG account shows electricity only and the closing read from PFP only recently appeared in it; gas does not show on my BG account at all; I have had no communication in over a month apart from an email to rate the service; not had anything about setting up a direct debit etc. The switch tracker shows that I should have switch on the 7th October but it is just showing electricity as being in progress with no mention of gas at all.

    Same here, haven't heard from them in weeks, though my BG account shows both gas and elec have transferred (elec only this week despite estimated switch date being 4th October.)

    My PFP account still showing credit (BG balance is £0) however the Messages section in the PFP account has been removed - this contained my welcome pack and first and only statement (which I'd downloaded). So hopefully BG are using thi to work out my account balances. I've not received any BG statement yet.

    I must say that the communication from BG has been pretty poor. I've been keeping an eye on the Avro to Octopus transfer because I have an outstanding Avro credit owed to me and Octopus have been communicating with daily updates on their website. It can be done differently!

  • I'm still in limbo with gas and elec. Gas moved to BG, but I had open complaint with PfP and was waiting for recalculation since July. Nothing on that was done so far. I can't see anything on my BG account either. I logged ticket for that with BG and again no news.

    Electricity is even worse, because Neon Reef doesn't have my current meter number and is charging me on estimate reading from meter I don't have since July 1st. So, waiting for them to get correct meter numbers for my property.
  • I am electric only. Haven't heard from BG since 20th Sept. And only once before that. In credit with PfP for £300. Still showing as an active DD despite cancelling it. I've got no reference number from BG so can't set up an online account. Haven't had any welcome pack or details though.

    Smart meter still showing PFP rates (although not complaining about that! Haha)

    So still in limbo. 😑

    I understand they are busy, but a little bit of communication would have helped a lot.

    Hopefully you do realise that those rates are only for use by your IHD as an estimate, they will not be used once a bill is raised...

    If you go to British Gas forgotten password page https://www.britishgas.co.uk/identity/forgotten-details/forgotten-password and enter your email you might be able to access your online account. This will only work if they've set one up for you in the background and may not give any more info than you have now. 

    Have you checked who your DNO list as your supplier?
