    I see PfP have reduced my DD to zero. Presumably just a small balancing payment to make when they finalise my account.

    Logged in to pfp to see the last smart meter read was taken on the same day. 

    Cancelled my DD a few days ago as my account was sitting at £300 in credit.

    I'm electric only at home.

    Anyone else still waiting for the contract from BG?
    Hi.  I have heard nothing from them either.  I did look at their live chat but it said because of PFP, Money Plus and another one they were very busy and to leave the line open for their vulnerable customers.
    I have received a final bill from PFP. It did not include a £12 charge for cancellation of my direct debit but they did backdate to July the reduction for paying by direct debit. 
      BG asked for a meter reading a week ago which I gave them. Though they didn’t contact me with any account number I used old log in details from last time I was moved to BG and found my new account number and up to date address details and of the tariff I’m on. However there were no details of the meter reading or account credit.

    Well I've finally had a further communication from BG, but only a survey about my 'joining experience'!

    I assume at some point they'll ask to set up a DD. Has anybody had that yet?

    Logging in to my account online I do see that there's a phone number to use to set up a DD, but I'd rather not have to do it that way if it can possibly be avoided.

    Goodness, I'm envious that you have had a final bill, (though when is final - final?!). 

    I'm still in limbo. I have a BG 'Customer Reference' but no sign of an Account Number.  Probably the former generated as I decided to register with BG when no set up materialised.  The meter reading I submitted via the online chat hasn't made an appearance either.

  • I got email that my gas is with BG since 11th and my account was setup but I still get empty screen and error after logging in. But smart meter definitely reports to them, as it shows BG and their prices.

    And I'm trying to straighten out electricity meter with Neon Reef, because they don't show correct meter number

    My “switch date” on the British Gas website was yesterday.  Sure enough my account all seems set up now and the Electricity DNO is finally showing BG as my supplier (Gas were showing it weeks ago).  They also appear to have taken smart meter readings yesterday and these are showing in my account.

    Now just to wait for a final PFP bill and see my credit balance. Could be a while yet!

    good for you, my switch date for electricity was 30th Sept, still not showing.
  • I used to be a BG customer at an old property so my old login details worked fine and my new account is showing alongside my old one. I responded to their email asking for meter readings a few weeks ago and finally today my gas reading has appeared on my BG account - no sign of electricity yet, but given what everyone's been saying that's to be expected. No sign of a final bill from PFP yet either, but my DD has been cancelled for a good month or so now and I don't appear to have been charged the extra fee that everyone else has been talking about. Will just have to wait and see what happens -shrugs-

    PfP have changed the DD amount to zero. I assume they'll just make a final balancing (re)payment when the final statements are calculated.
  • Logged onto PFP today and see the £12 penalty charge has been removed. My BG account shows a Gas reading I gave a while back. But no electricity readings shown. But that seems common amongst others.
