Seem I'm one of the many where they wont honour warranty. The sink is not serverly damaged it was used normally it is not scratch resistant.

  • Usually the first complaint needs to issued against the (seller) retailer,  There reply will often contain ill thought out legal bull droppings. They hope you go away..

Dont know who the seller is but many items are couriered around europe and into our country. chances the item could suffered impact damage on its journey.

Probably the sink item has done more tourist miles than the buyer.

The named item may have been purchased as it has a well known name (in europe) with customer services in europe but sales agents in the UK. Yes blame brexit  <3

SS basins & sinks are more durable during transit  :)

Tbh, if it was my kitchen sink. i would just ensure its not leaking water through the crack Insuring the crack is not spreading and just as a cosmetic repair use minimal amount of 2 part coloured wood filler (car body filler). Remembering filler can be toxic for some  :o:open_mouth:

Tbh, receiving goods that have been badly treated in transit or graded items (not perfect) avail

My idea is to purchase sanitary items from a local merchant company and i can have a good look at the item before opening my wallet.

Then i take the items away, all good  <3

Hope the OP gets some sort of satisfaction  <3

    Good afternoon,

As previously advised, if you can provide the manufacturers with any further details, they may be able to look into this further for you, however at this current time, there is nothing more we can do.

Please accept my apologies for this inconvenience.

impossible to break or stain, is no heavier than a washing up bowl as I found when it was delivered.

Based on what? The manufacturer states that it has been "severely" damaged, the seller agrees with them. To me it looks like damage by an external source rather than a defect. Can you prove otherwise because that's you'd be expected to do if going down the small claims route.

By all means open an AtoZ case with Amazon but I think you're on a hiding to nowhere unless you can prove it's a defect rather than damage.
