Evening turtles and hugs to those who need them, it's almost the weekend!
Actually my weekend starts here as am off tomorrow, going to Newquay with a friend. Means my new tally of 2 NSD's will probably stay that way until Monday but who cares.
My manager really annoyed me today by doing something behind my back on one of my cases. I've had a bit of a vent and now time to let it go. I'm glad I'm leaving this place. I've been in touch with my new manager today and have confirmed my start date, she's also offered to take me for lunch which sounds nice! I'm normally a bit antisocial at lunchtimes so I'll have to put on my happy face!
Grateful for going away tomorrow, a start date for my new job and a nice walk this morning.8 -
Making my life lighter - ds1 cleared out 2 shelves of books from his room - most went to Ds2 and Ds3 but there is a pile to attempt to sell/ CS. Sold 1 item via fb00k. Few small items from Ds3's room added to reject pile (donate/ recycle/ bin)
Get outside - took youngest 2 into town for shopping... thankfully the rain held off until we were on our way back to the car (and shopping was successful)
Thankful for - mostly dry weather when in town, DS1 having an unprompted clearout, having an exit strategy for some things, getting some unwanted uniform items returned to myself whilst in town, a chat with friend tonightI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £206 -

Good luck with the date @Calling14, sounds like a nice time by the lake too.
This morning started ok, but after listening to the quiz, I started to get some pain. It really built up this afternoon despite all the painkillers, still hardly able to open my mouth much. Hubby made me a cup of warm, salty water, which was prescribed on the discharge papers - OMG it worked wonders after an hour!! I can open my mouth properly, chew comfortably & hardly any pain at all!!! I was starting to give up hope of any improvement, my legs had been twitching all afternoon with the constant pain. Don't want to speak too soon, but if I feel it all building up again, I now know what to do! Had some Lucozade too to give me a boost & managed to eat a small ball of chocolate 😃 even felt well enough to wash the dishes
Grateful for salty water, less pain/more movement, helpful hubby & children
Fingers crossed I do ok on Popmaster tomorrow, the questions were quite difficult today, but still managed to score more than the first contestant! Will let you know how I get onUse it up, wear it out

Evening
Did a few surveys today and managed to log onto ipsos as it had been blocked by my internet firewall and i couldn't remember my username or password! I have enough for a £10 voucher at m£s or t0sco. Disappointed that the accommodation i tried to book on hairbnb expired and the host didn't confirm so back to trawling through to find something that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, oh well. DD2 has come home for a few days which is nice, made her fave tea and washing machine is going as she brought home her washing, bless.
Did half a pilates class on Fb.
gratitudes - DD2 home; managed to get washing mostly dry before it started raining; nearly friday
