Orange Retention Offers

So, just called Orange and was put through to "disconnections", was looking to upgrade to a samsung s3 or Sony Xperia T. £49.99 for either phone with either unlmtd texts & calls & 250mb data or 200 mins unlmtd texts and 750mb data. Neither sounds especially good to me and is less than what I was offered previously. I had requested a PAC code which had expired - have a new one now. Had seen an S3 on O2 for £22 600 mins, 500 texts and 750 mb data last Thursday however seems to be £27 now. Still feel really dissapointed with Orange :-(0

could always try p4u or dialaphone they give better upgrades than orange directWhat goes around-comes around0

First call tonight and basically got offered nothing at all. I've been paying under £10 a month for a good package so I didn't expect a miracle but thought I might get offered something. Requested my PAC and received it over the phone.
Have a minor issue with billing which hasn't been resolved so will push on with that and try and leverage it into a decent upgrade. Will update as things go0 -

Galaxy S3 LTE (Titanium)
300 minutes
Unlimited texts
500mb data
Free Phone
This was for £26pm (what she pays at the moment).
I asked if she could call up and get me a similar deal, just on the off chance.
She spoke to them today and got the following for me
Galaxy S3 LTE (Titanium)
Unlimited minutes
Unlimited texts
500mb data but a code to upgrade to 1gb on receipt of the phone
Free phone
All this also for £26pm! She was a bit gutted that she was offered less on her upgrade and me as a new customer getting a good deal.
Not a bad afternoon's work from the OH
Free Phone
Well there was me thinking all was good. Phones arrived on Tuesday, but the phone I received was the Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini!!
OH called up and queried this and CS said that no note had been made on the system confirming that both phones were to be SIII LTEs! After a few phone calls and being transferred between Sales and Returns, the OH then spoke to someone who said they will get the call listened to - as they believe there's no way they'd have offered 2 LTEs!
No supervisor was around to listen to the call, so we're waiting for a call back tomorrow to see if there's a resolution to the problem.
So frustrating!2021

Orange have now decided that I should never have been offered what they offered my OH and so we're returning the S3 Mini and will be putting in a very long complaint letter to Orange.
When my OH asked if I could get Panther 26 with a free phone, they said no chance and basically didn't look to haggle.
So they've lost out on a new customer and I'll stick with GiffGaff's £10 a month PAYG2021

I wasn't part of Orange in the first place, so would never have been able to upgrade. I'll just stick with my HTC Desire for now and keep it cheap.
Still won't stop us complaining to Orange though2021

I called Orange today to end my contract and get my PAC code. They didn't even try to stop me leaving! I felt so unwanted...

Well I've not heard anything from retentions since requesting my pac. Very disappointed but not surprised. Will try calling up a couple of times as thats what got me the fantastic deal last time. After 13 years I'm probably due a change anyway.0

Been with them for years. This years offer on a G3 mini is £26 pm. Nearly twice what I can get it for with a cash back deal.
Bye bye0
