Just rang retentions, was on £25 package, was offered N95 8gb, 250 mins and 150 texts for £20 per month inc. VAT, will suit me just fine.
They were keen to push the brand new Sony Ericsson c902 and the Nokia 6500 slide onto me and reduce the contract down to £18 per month but I particularly wanted the N95.0 -
I've decided not to get a new phone now, so I'm not tied into a 12 month contract. I'm going to wait until October for the N96, and until then go onto their SIM-only packages, £20 / mth, 450 mins, 250 texts.0

Just got a new nokia 6300 slide (i think thats the one) or is it 6500 lol
unlimited text
600mins free anytime any network
£20 a month
I was gonna leave as found a deal for £20 a month but no new phone, they wanted to give me a new nokia N95 same mins and texts for £25 but I had made it clear I could only afford £20 so they said if I took another phone they would drop to £20:-) perfect for me as was prepared to stick with my old phone.
Happy days:-)0 -

its not for panther @ £8, there is no such chargable £8 250MB plan for panther - just the free 250MB one or free orange calls or free landlines, you can take the free landlines/orange and add the £8 250MB bundle to panther - as you can to any animal plan
call and quote the PAY MONTHLY " PERSONAL" GUIDE to a floor walker/floater if needs be
that pdf guide is dated 2008 on the last page & the current advised animal plans in there are the revamped ones a few months ago in March so tell them its been produced SINCE March....see page 28 of pdf file for discontinued plans over several revamped animal plans shelf lifes since animals launch April 2006
tell them you have a copy in your hand & tell them where to find the pdf downloadable copy
w w w1.orange.co.uk/service_plans/downloads/pm_price_guides.pdfSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Hi!
My contract is due up in two months and retentions phoned me up today. I am currently on a canary 40 contract with 450 cross net mins, 100 orange mins and 200 texts.
I was offered the same package (for 18months) for £30 with a W890 phone and £150 - is this any good?
Thanks

I was just offered (after my 2nd call in 4 weeks to them), Panther 45 (1200mins, 500texts, unlimited bolt on (choosing the web), 5 Magic Numbers and the Nokia N95 8GB for £30pm!!!
Bloody good deal as 2 weeks ago they offered the same deal but at £35pm.
So this time I rang up, and sounded stupid and said I could get Panther 45 on O2 for £30pm (but that is SIM only deal) and said I wanted 'that code thingy to take my number with me'. She instantly said we'll match that deal and do you still want the N95They said it'll be 7 days to deliver as phone out of stock.
So if you dont succeed 1st time, call back again and again
My contract ran out June 3rd, so I'm a good few weeks out of it, but I think calling again and acting stupid did the trick0 -
They rang me today and offered me to
keep Canary £30 (300mins + 300 off peak _ 150 texts)
and give me 4mb free internet
and Nokia 6500
for £25 month/18months
I have 2 weeks contract left, can I get better?
I want a great camera phone with easy internet usage
ThanksI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
I'm in the last month of my 500mins/500txt plan - spoke to retentions they've offered me the panther 1200mins/500txts and broadband with a Nokia 6500 slide for £25 p/m - pretty good ....
I was told that If I were to leave cancelling my contract until after my contract has ended, I will be offered a significantly better deal .... ie better handset choice etc.
Does this sound any good?0 -
Well thats well better than what they have offered me! But I bet some experts on here can tell us about an offer even better!I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0
