Imho - if you quote a competitors deal that you are considering they'll take your intention to terminate seriously, you'll also need to be virtually at the end of your contract. Try mentioning the "three" £20 per month, 18 month, 1100 mix and match plan - this should help.

I think the deal i've been offered is fairly good, my friend who's got a couple of weeks longer to run on their contract (same as mine), has been offered the deal for £30 per month, with a reduction to £25 for the first 6 months. I've been offered it for £25.

If anyone can help by mentioning if the deal i've been offered is any good that would be much appreciated.

I'm in the last month of my 500mins/500txt plan - spoke to retentions they've offered me the panther 1200mins/500txts and broadband with a Nokia 6500 slide for £25 p/m - pretty good ....

I was told that If I were to leave cancelling my contract until after my contract has ended, I will be offered a significantly better deal .... ie better handset choice etc.

    Does this sound any good?
id grab it - thats a great deal as free/£5 broadband is long gone - if your on Oranges BT wholesale not Orange LLU internet connection take into consideration the surcharges

£5 40GB Broadband Unlimited replaced with - Home Select 6GB is £20 a month on Orange LLU & £28 a month if its over BT Wholesale

both packages get a Livebox and Second Line: & calls to 01/02/03 & Orange UK mobiles

    BUT INCLUDED IS....

Unlimited BB - calls to 100 countries
Home Select - calls to 30 countries

consider Nokia 6301 ( the Nokia 6300 with wifi for Unique calls ) over the 6500 and you get 1000 mix of minutes to call 01/02/03 Orange UK mobiles & 30 international landlines from your mobile when at home next to Livebox BUT walk out the door away from Livebox down the street & the call is still deducted from your Unique 1000 freebies not your Panther plan

is your free broadband the 2MB one ? if so you can still get the upto 8MB broadband thats discontinued = £5 broadband unlimited with the Nokia 6301 with a Livebox and second line with free calls to 01/02/03 Orange mobiles & 100 international landlines Broadband unlimited means UNLIMITED as your Nokia 6301 Unique mobile uses your broadband connection at home for the 1000 mins free calls, they cant terminate your BB for overuse of the 40GB limit as your mobile contract would then be null & void so UNLIMITED it really is.....for £5 aswell ;)

im on that internet package with extra 200 mins on my Panther 1200/500txts plan ( i choose unlimited landlines ) for £26 a month with Unique Nokia 6301, £5 for BB

Unique customers will soon not be allowed Broadband Unlimited for £5

ie...make the move to Unique & £5 broadband unlimited NOW ! Tell retentions you want Nokia 6301, when it comes you register/pair your new 6301 handset and sim number with registrations, ask them to apply the Unique bundle to account & change your broadband to broadband unlimited for £5 :)

take deal - you can move to any current priceplan after retentions & keep your £15 discount, make sure that they are applying a £15 discount to your a/c though....sounds like it

    I get 10% off & £10 monthly credit that is £3.50 off Doplhin & £10.00 but moving to Panther £45 I got 10% off - £4.50, £10 & the Orange £5 Direct Customer discount off aswell ( see shop.orange.co.uk )

    Panther 1200min/500 txts & unlimited landlines £40 - £19.50 :D,

Push retentions for a Unique Blackberry ( all avail on personal but only marketed on Orange Business as Unique phones ) and tell them you want to use Unique so can they apply that bundle ( all the consmer Unique handserts have known faults as UMA/Unique is new tech )

Unique Nokia 6300i is released soon ( similar to 6300/6301 ) but proven to be stable, maybe you could have that dispatched later with a note on your a/c when released ?
