I just phoned up the retention dept to see what they could offer me.
Was previously on Dolphin 35 paying £35 a month.
Was offered- 600 mins and unlimited texts for £20 a month
- 400 mins and unlimited texts for £15 a month
I chose the £15 as my OH is now joining orange so He can be my magic number and I can call him for free!0 -
How do you get through to Retentions - what there number? My partner has completed their contract so ideal to get what can be offered0

Retentions number is 0800 0790 272
What I actually did was tell them that they were too expensive and that i needed a much cheaper deal - they offered me my original contract - 500 mins & 500 text for £25 a month (£10 cheaper) but I told them i felt Three were doing better deals than that and gave them the 30 day notice. Within a week i received a letter saying that they are sorry to hear i'm leaving and to give them a call to see what they could do.
When I phoned, a really helpful lady gave me better deals.
NB: I think the deals all depend on the phones you want for free - I dont think I could have chosen a £450 phone and got such a fab deal.
Someone also told me that it also depends on how much you go over your contract - as in how much extra they make out of you each month - but thats not so in my case as i never went over my contract since ive been with them!0 -
My son has just phoned Orange and spoke with a really nice chap (Chris) and he has put him on the Dolphin 40 contract. 750 Mins, u/l text and u/l web browsing. He is really pleased with that. Well done Chris at Orange!0

Just called them and was looking at Nokia N95 8GB and best they can do is £29.99 on 18 months contract with £25 monthly line rental.
Was looking to better than that
Any suggestions?0 -

Did he pay £35 for it with the £5 online reduction ? he should save a small fortune now:beer:0 -
If you go through Quidco you can get £50 cash back
Just about all the tariffs have £5 off the standard price if you buy online through their website.
If you prefer not to use the website, if ou take ANY old working handset (with no cracks in the screen) into a store they are currently giving you £100 off a contract phone - they do this over the term of the contract so my OH's 18 month contract was reduced from £35 to £29.50 a month
Orange are also offering unlimited free mobile browsing, unlimited land line calls and an 8gb memory card with most of their new contracts at the moment
Before anyone asks - no i dont work for orange, i just think that they're doing some good deals at the moment!!!0 -

No, he was quoted £40. To be fair to Orange, his contract is not due for renewal until next Feb. At £40 PM, he will save enough, over the next 7 months, to pay for a holiday. He is pleased at the outcome.0
