thanks diamonds... Orange as just refusing to budge.... the person he is dealing with at the moment is a "manager" (not sure how high up) in retentions... main problem is there is no paperwork to back up what Orange have said to him... they claim they just go by notes on the account... very dodgy....

i know dodgy indeed...i would ask all customers of retentions to send confirmation of the deal offered as some seem to mislead customers with no fall back for the customer

I assume 900/100 is the old Panther 45 plan so they should call 150 & ask to be transfered to Premier if they dont directly get through to Premier on 150 & plead Orange's case is inconsistant as it was never applied for 12 months & they accept they cannot have the 2000 xtra but surely a bill recalculation is fair & they will then re-contract only on them terms

also if they are being offered £20 off temp, they should ask for a no handset deal on the websave Panther 75 for 18/24 months & get 3000 x net mins & unlimited mobile browsing & a choice of unlimited* Orange or landline calls or texts

    Panther 75 websave is £70 18 months 3000 mins 500 texts

    Panther 70 websave is £65 24 months & P75^

both come with a choice of unlimited bundle but 24 monther comes with unlimited mobile browsing if that fits thier needs

someone who needs high volume mins is better going for the unlimited landlines & your mate only has 100 texts on Panther 45 - 12 monther so i'd say they are a talker & unlimited landlines is the way to go

if they mainly call a few Orange mobiles use " your group " or " magic numbers " NOT unlimited Orange to Orange unless they know loads of Orange peeps & a high volume of calls on Orange

Id go 24 months and get a minimum off £20 off with or without a handset from retentions, a mention of Vodafone stop the clock as you call alot off peak always works wonders ! ;)
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

the 2000 xtra mins was to compete with 2000 free o2-o2 calls at the time of o2 promotion and was set up for peeps wanting to PAC to o2 - retentions abused it for any PAC to any network and are trying to grab them back as they got in trouble applying the bundle which is £30 more expensive than Panther 45 on the Orange priceplans, applying that to pricelans less than £35 cost Orange ££££££££££££££££'s, but retentions are clawing back them all as o2 no longer do the promo, if o2 were you'd all get it if your incoming call revenue was good lol

Orange handed out the 2000 x mins as a trump card to Orange customers as a finger up at o2

    what now?

just cancelled my contract with orange after wracking up £300 bill when loyoly mintues were taken off my account after over 10 years with orange with 2 contract phones the best offer was to save 10 a month on the pather 70 tariff rather pay the extra tenner and start again on another network contract ends the end july.

will they come back with a better deal?
