Orange Retention Offers

Just been on phone to Orange and I asked for best deal they could give me on Samsung Tocco F480. Managed to get 100 mins and 300 texts (plenty for me) for £15 per month and the phone free! Thanks for all the advice on here-I'm well pleased with what I've got

15days before contract ends:

I was on 18mth contract £35pm Dolphin 600mins, U/L texts, with Orange SPW M3100 phone 4 current magic numbers and Unlimited 8meg broadband at £5pm..

Just taken 18mth contract £20 Dolphin 600mins, U/L texts, with N82 Black, keep the 4 magic numbers and get to add 4 more over the course of the contract, and continue Unlimited 8meg broadband at £5pm with no extension to Broadband contract. I'm pleased!

Perhaps I should have pushed my luck for cheaper since the friendly customer relations advisior asked me what deal I'd like and I said as above!

Won't mention the names but since I know they read this board a big thumbs up to him!

been with Orange for 12 years got 2 numbers both on OVP for the past 2 years average bill £30, what sort of deal should I be asking for, all helpful suggestions welcome. Thanks

Now that seems like the sort of deal that would suit me. Did you wait until your contract was up?Did they contact you? how much pushing did you have to do....I had a orange "representative" phone me up today it wasn't until I started to push for details of discounts etc did I realise it wasn't orange but a sales man from carphone warehouse.

I would like to deal direct with orange and not contact them too early so as much info from anyone who has upgraded recently would be helpful

Currently got 750 mins and 1000 text for £20

Their offer is 600 mins and u/l text for £25 with Free Nokia 95 8gb
or 1000 mins and u/l text for £30 but have to pay £49.99 for the N95 8 gb. or Normal N95 for free.

Any thoughts ? I also stay a premier customer.

My usage has dropped hence the offer isn't quite as good,

To be honest my contract ran out 3 years ago and I have never changed or updated it. The rates I am on are garbage and I basically said they have taken th p1ss with what I am on, so this is probably them trying to save face a bit.
I had asked about the N95 8gb, but they still seem to have problems with the software it seems. I was advised I could have that phone if I wanted it.

Best thing is to ring from your Orange handset and ask to speak to customer retentions.

I'm just out of contract with orange on a dolphin 30 £30/mth.
I Managed to complete an E2save cashback deal but not pushing my luck with another year.
Im only a light user but just got 225mins/10txts and a free nokia n82 for £12.50/mth from retentions. Couldnt get it down any further than this though.

I Was On Racoon 35 Paying 30 Pounds A Month But My Usage Was Quite Higher Than That.
First Of All After Asking I Was Told That I Had 400 And Some What I Didn't Remmebr How Much Lolyalty Points To Avail

Now First Thing You Should Do Is Ask How Much Loyality You Have Got.
Secondly Try To Be On The Lower Price Plan And Get The Maximum Discount
After Getting That Discount You Can Move To A Higher Price Plan

I Will Explain What I Am Talking Abt In A Bit

I Was On Racoon 35
I Wanted Panther 55
But If I Would Have Gone To Panther 55 I Would Have Got A Discount F Only 15 Pounds A Month Coming Upto 35 Pounds A Month

But I Was Advised To Stay On The Same Plan Racoon 35 , Get The Discount Of 25 Pounds A Month So Ideally I Will Be Paying 5 Pounds A Month On Racoon 35 Cuz U Get That For 30 Pounds On Web.
After That Offer Has Been Applied To The Account , Later On You Can Call Or From Your Account Online You Can Change The Price Plan, If You Wanna Go Straight Away On A Higher Price Plan That Will Take More Of Your Loyality Points , I Dunno Why But Tahts What Happens.
So I Got Racoon 35 For 5 Pounds A Month And Nokia N95 8gb
Later On I Changed My Price Plan To Panther 55 Online Which Is 50 Pounds A Month , So With A Discount Of 25 Pounds I Will Be Paying 25 Pounds A Month For Next 18 Months And 1900 Mins Anytime ,500 Texts And Unlimited Benefit Of My Choice.

NOW YOU SHOULD CALCULATE THAT HOW MUCH DISCOUNT YOU CAN GET URSELF , FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE GT 300 POINTS TO AVAIL THAN THIS MEANS YOU CAN GET 15 POUNDS A MONTH DISCOUNT (15*18=270) AND YOU ARE STILL LEFT WITH 30 POINTS WHICH YOU CAN GET MAY BE SOME ACCESSORY OR MAY BE 100 MORE MINUTES.
ALWAYS DO THIS , YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT YOU CAN GET BEFORE YOU GO TO THEM

Feeling a bit fed up...

phoned customer relations told them i was thinking about leaving...I am currently on Racoon 35 500 mins and 200 texts.

I want the black Samsung Soul and the best she would offer me was £20 400 mins and 100 texts but not for that phone....she was not exactly trying very hard to keep my business.

i requested my pac code!! i don't really want to leave, my contract is up on the 5th July.

Any ideas! what i want is at least 500mins and 100 texts. What shall I do wait for a call or try again when i have received my PAC code.
