Been watching these forums for a few weeks and i thought it would be only fair if i posted what i had recieved as a result of reading this site!
I was on a Racoon 30 contract with 300mins and 50 texts per month and i payed an extra 5 per month for the top broadband package!
Total £35
The new deal that orange offered me is the same price although it is much more attractive.
Part 1 £15 pounds per month, 475 anytime mins and 75 texts with a free HTC Touch Diamond which they say they will post at the end of the month although the release is subject to delay! (18 month deal although the 18 months dont start until i recieve the handset)
Part 2 £15 pounds per month, 225 anytime mins and 100 texts, sim only (no contract)
Part 3 £5 pounds per month 8meg broadband, livebox, second line etc (no contract)
Total Cost £35 (cost tied down to pay for 18 months is £15)
Overall i thought a very good deal! (dident call a number they called me!)0 -
Part 2 £15 pounds per month, 225 anytime mins and 100 texts, sim only (no contract)
All sounds good except for part 2 quoted above; best deal must be:
T-mobile Solo 15:
Just a Sim on a 30 day Contract (so really No contract)
350 Minutes
650 Texts
£15 per month
Available to anyone through their website0 -

I’m just out of contract with Orange.
I rang retentions & they only offered me the base broadband @ £5per month.
Anyone who was not already on free BB managed to get free BB when negotiating a new contract?
They told me that they stopped doing free BB earlier this year, however, i'm sure that i read that someone managed to get free BB recently.

Just wondered what happens. I am due to finish my 18 month contract....I hate waiting for things!!! 5th July. I quite like the search for a new phone. I had a good deal from the phone spot with redemption deals on an orange contract but have been incredibly frustrated with the lack of continuity in dealing with cash back cheques. I am still waiting for Aprils!! I have received all my cheques but want to avoid this kind of thing. I have constantly swapped my number between orange and o2 before but this time want to keep with orange as I have free broadband and I am happy with this.
What is the best I can hope for
I want a new phone prob one of the new Samsung or sony's.
Current minutes 500 / texts 200 and fixed line 250.
I currently pay £35.
What can I hope to get this down to on a monthly cost?
Will they contact me?
Any advice would be great.0 -

Hi All
First post here, although I'm usually a lurker. Just wanted to tell you about the retention deal that orange offered. ATM I'm 500 mins for £35, I always go way over this though. Orange called a couple of weeks ago as my contract was coming to an end, the 'best' they could offer me was 600 mins for £30, which I turned down. The contacted me about 4 times to offer me this deal, even though I kept saying no. Plus the did the whole 'valued customer' even though I pointed out that they were offering the same deal via the orange website
I called Orange on Friday to cancel my contract, I said that I had seen a good deal that t-mobile were offering that I was planning on taking - samsung F480, mix of 1000 & 2000 texts for £27 a month. Orange have now offered the samsung F480, 1200 mins, 500 texts & unlimited Internet for £30. Very happy with that & going to try and get the same for my mum who's contract is also up.
Glad I never accepted there original deal!0 -
Hello,
I pay £35 for 1000 minutes and 100 texts. My contract with Orange ends at the end of the month. I'm happy with the phone I have and don't need a new one. In your opinion, what offers would be open to me?
Regards.0
