I was offered (if I ring the day after my contract ends next month):
400 xnet mins
100 txts
New Sony K850i
For £15 a month for 18 month contract.
Do you think I can push any further? I would have liked more txts but the mins are probably enough.0 -
Just taken the following offer on 18 month contract - well pleased as it suits my needs/budget spot on!
Free Samsung G600
350 mins
250 texts
Free broadband to continue
£15 a month0 -
I've been offered the racoon 25 plan including a free n95 8gb and 2 months of free data. I can have data for £4 month after that date.
I'm pleased with the deal as I never go above my free minutes.0 -
No joy for me.
I've been on Canary 40 for the last 11 months, 450mins + 250 text for £40 a month. Average monthly spend is just under £50.
I called up and they said the could give me the same package and a free phone for £30 a month, I said I didn't need a new phone and was offered a SIM only deal, same minutes for £20 a month, i.e. exactly what anyone else can get.
I said my housemate got a free phone (SE W890i), 600mins and unlimited text for £18.50 a month and since I didn't need a new phone, was hoping for rather a better deal than what she offered. She said she couldn't do any better, so it looks like I'll be off to e2save and O2 using quidco for another cashback deal. They are pretty thin on the ground right now but I have another 3 weeks for something good to appear.0 -

cant offer any discounts on sim onlys, sometimes it even works out better getting any old phone0 -
I am in the last month of a painfully long 18 month contract and so far have been offered:-
N95 8gb
panther 45 which is
1200mins
500texts
magic numbers
250meg data
with £5 web discount and £5 loyalty discount
£35 per month.
TBH it isn't good enough. They said that if I upgrade now the remaining month will go onto the end of the new contract so in effect will be a 19 month contract. The CS rep estimated that I might get another £5 discount if i leave it until the full end of contract, but I am so fed up with 18 month contracts I think I might jump ship and go to o2 with 1 of their 12 month contracts instead. IMHO orange get worse and worse.
It can make up to 200 pounds worth of loyalty waiting until after the end of your contract0 -
Think you're better off waiting til it is close to or just after the expiry date, maybe someone else, Toontastic, can offer more help?
Yes wait until the day after contract ends for more discount0 -
Hi all,
Been with Orange for probably 8 years now, with bills ranging anywhere from £100-£1000 in the last couple of years. Was due an upgrade in March and retentions have just offered the following - would like an opinion on whether anything better can be had:
(Panther 45)
1200 any network any time mins
1000 sms
unlimited landline calls
£35/month
250mb peak data usage, 1GB off peak data usage - £7.50 extra per month.
TyTn II (which I'll probably sell, and buy a Diamond when it's out, but it's apparently not coming until late August)
Total 42.50
Thanks all0 -
£36 unlimited text and 1000 minutes and that's for anyone..........nothing.0
