Thanks people for posting your deals, helped me get this:

    Free N82
    600 Anytime Xnet
    Unlimited Texts
2 months free Data Usage (think it's only evenings & weekends)
    Orange Vibe Bluetooth Headset
    18 months
    for....£20 per month

    Jon

Jon, how did you get that deal, by phone or in an Orange shop?
I am on PAYG and looking to get a Black N82 the cheapest way possible, it seems you can buy a Sim Free one for about £300 although only from overseas at the moment, which I am reluctant to do. :(
So you will be paying £360 over the 18 months plus the extras so it seems quite a good deal. ;)

Rich, I called Orange, 150, went through to retentions and they talked over a few deals.
Some of my bills have been quite high and I hadn't upgraded my Nokia N70 for 2 years.

They even offered me £15p/m plus £10 for the phone, but only 350 minutes and 250 texts, so £280, but my deal is better suited for me.

A guy 'matrix999' was offered a good deal from retentions and he was on PAYG, follow a page or 2 back in this thread.

Hope you get something decent and post back!

    Jon

I got offered 25% off a tariff coming from PAYG, the thing that puts me off, is that with vodafone you pay as little as £5 for 500 MB of internet browsing. With orange you have to pay £8 for a truely pathetic 30 MB!

Its 7.50 for unlimeted internet access (250mb fair usage to stop people pluggig it into the computer as a modem)

For anyone with zero marginal cost calls, ie, inclusive ("free") minutes on mobile or "all-you-can-eat" inclusive on landline, DIALNOW.COM http://www.dialnow.com/en/index.html offers a good deal for international calls as their access number is a landline (Manchester!) 0161 number. Pre-paid, so it can't get out of hand, min credit 10 Euros, then most of Europe and many others free (credit doesn't reduce) or 0.5 eurocents / min, no connection fee. It works, and a lot less hassle than Skype, more like a normal mobile or fixed phone service. Also good value for calls to foreign mobiles. Run by same lot as 18185, whose web text service is much better and cheaper (1p to most countries)

Orange charge 20p a minute for calling card access so it wont be long before that number becomes chargeable.

I am in the last month of a painfully long 18 month contract and so far have been offered:-

    N95 8gb
    panther 45 which is
    1200mins
    500texts
    magic numbers
    250meg data
with £5 web discount and £5 loyalty discount
    £35 per month.

TBH it isn't good enough. They said that if I upgrade now the remaining month will go onto the end of the new contract so in effect will be a 19 month contract. The CS rep estimated that I might get another £5 discount if i leave it until the full end of contract, but I am so fed up with 18 month contracts I think I might jump ship and go to o2 with 1 of their 12 month contracts instead. IMHO orange get worse and worse.
