Just renegotiated my third contract in a week.
18th
as stated above . £21 + £5 discount for three months, all calls, not fixed .
21st ,
£20 pm, not fixed, all calls, for 18 months.
today,
£20 pm, £5 discount for first three months, 24 month contract, not fixed.
all calls !
wonder what my next one will be ?
I had the April e- mail notifying me of cpi+ 3.5%, most are doing it, so no point moving, even with the principles.
they were allowed to do it.
small print .
every time I renegotiated a new contract, over umpteen years, they upped the calls boost by £2 after a few months, again, allowed to, but not BB , without letting you go without penalty .

Ummm I don't see this as an issue IMO, I'm always waiting for a reason to leave early! I got talktalk in feb, £24 a month, plus £80 voucher (aka a mastercard with £80 on) plus £48 from quidco, now after ~5 months I'm leaving. My total outlay is 24 x 5 - 80 - 48 = -8, so I've basically have free internet since Feb plus 8 quid in my pocket.
I'm now leaving for now broadband which is £22 x 12 months minus £110 quidco, which is ~£13 quid a month for the same 65 meg broadband.
I don't see why people complain to them and stay hours on the phone to their CS, just vote with your feet and leave. If everyone just left they'll soon get the message and all of them would stop with this nonsense of mid contact price increases.1 -
But it no longer matters as TT like others are all moving to a built in price increase .As its part of the contract no get out no renegotiatingPlus of course Now may increase prices .0

Not with Zen Internet, They are not only bucking the trend of yearly price increases, they offer a fixed price for life, as long as you remain with them.0 -

They might offer a fixed price for life (I`ve heard that one before, I think it was carphonewarehouse`s "free for life" internet) but they can`t provide fast fibre or a competitive price.
Just checked and the only package they can offer me is fast broadband for £29-99 a month.
With a download of 7-15 Mbps. £19-95 set up fee.
Zen equivalent for my TT package (£20 a month) would have been £34-95 and £19-99 set up fee but they can`t provde it for my address.

Because I have just received the price increase e-mail, I wonder what the order to do things in are. I have checked and am thinking of moving to Vodafone, but do I sign up with Vodafone and they will sort out the switch or do I need to contact TalkTalk and tell them I am leaving first?Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
(End 2022) - Target £116,213.810 -
You must inform TT you are leaving due to the price increase . Any other way and you have to pay off contract .

You must get TT to agree to let you leave penalty free first .Signing up with another ISP first means you break the TT contract and will be liable .The gaining provider handles all and will just cancel TT and that breaks your contract .1
