Hi. I wondered if anyone could help me out and / or direct me in the best place to post this for the best responses.

    Dear Sir / Madam
i have been a resident of XXXX for over two years and had my parking permit since that .......
    Kind regards
For specific advice about your case, you should start your own thread so it doesn’t get lost in this generic thread.
As you are in communication with someone threatening to sue you for £320, why end your message with kind regards?

Thank you, so if I won't ignore them I should enter in to conversation with either them or UKPC now, as its now at the LoC stage?

I could really do with seeing that, on the off chance would you have a link or any key words I can put in to the searchbar to take me straight through to it...?

    Many thanks
You do not need to search for the NEWBIES thread.  It is a pinned Announcement (in capitals) permanently stuck at the top of the parking forum.

There is already a hyperlink (breadcrumb trail) back to page one of the forum at the top of every page...

...and my signature below every post I make already tells you what that breadcrumb trail link looks like.  Obviously the link at the top of the page takes you straight to page one.  That's how forums work.

You don't stay on one thread.  And on any forum you ALWAYS start every day on page one, not on some old thread you bookmarked.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Hi, I've followed the NEWBIES thread and although there wasn't an email address for DCBLegal I've had to file the points on the defendant's response form requesting for the 30 days extension on the basis I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.

also highlighting that I'll send the client the SAR that I received.

Who do I go to also disputing this as no one wants it to go to court, especially with the evidence I have - proof of living at the address and being issued a permit. Do I need to reach out to the UKPC who were the enforcement company at the time or the company I was renting the flat from?

You would be better off starting a new thread and giving us some detail, then you will receive bespoke advice.

    Totally agree.

This poster, @Moneysavingexpertmember777, has been trying to progress his issue on this thread for nearly two years.

Sorry not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, or as per the previous comments I should start a new thread.

DCBL notice of debt recovery - unpaid parking charge £170.  Met Parking Services Ltd (McDonalds) on 14th March 2020.  Reason was overstay.

I thought I had challenged this with Met Parking almost 3 years ago, now this has turned up!

I have read that I should ignore the letter as it isn't a court letter, but I don't want my son to get a CCJ against his name.

Apologies if this is the incorrect place to post this, any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Yes, start a new thread - what is the letter that you have received - what title does it have, what does it ask you to do?

Add  all this info in the new thread with if possible a redacted copy of the latter if you can

  • Hi All

Received a letter of claim from DCBLegal for a PCN on 16 February 2020.

Following the newbies thread, I have sent a SAR to UKPCL.  Received the automatic response from them.

From what I understand, the 2nd step I must do is send a letter to DCBLegal at info@dcblegal.co.uk like below?  info@dcblegal.co.uk is the only email address on the letter.

Would just like somebody to have a quick once over on the email, thanks.

    Subject: Reference ########.#######  - PCN###############

    Dear Sir/Madam

With regards to the Letter of Claim (Reference ########.#######) received dated 23 February 2023 from DCBLegal:
    1. I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
    2. I have requested a SAR from your client, UK Parking Control Limited.
    Your faithfully
    #############

Should I also wait a week or two before sending this, giving time to receive whatever UKPCL has on me?
