WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH DCBL ?

Clearly they don't know themselves .. they followed BWLegal into the daft claims industry, maybe not understanding how often BWLegal were spanked,   and now ..... DCBL want to avoid those court spankings for taking on rubbish cases with a simple Notification of Discontinuation

DCBL cannot deny that the current 57 cases of
Discontinuation that we have so far seen on here are infact RUBBISH CASES wasting everyone's time including MCOL and the courts

Do DCBL have an answer ... do DCBL have the guts to come on this forum and explain why they bring rubbish claims ?

Suspect the answer is loss leader!  We have seen 57 (and courting) discontinuances but how many people have just paid up because of the threat of court?

DCB Ltd are simply acting on the instructions of their
Client sends over a load of cases, cases progress.  and some are discontinued. It isnt the same as dealing with a small legal firm who will (as a %) discontinue a much smaller % of their claims given the way they are handled
DCB Ltd don't care, it has no effect on them, its a very automated process
  • This forum needs more publicity!!
Yes - they can afford to take the losses because of the amount of “wins” they have i.e. Pay up on PCN, Pay up on NTK,  pay up at any time on receipt of various threatening letters, or cave in before a court appearance.
An interesting stat would be how many cases have DCBL actually won that went before a judge - I reckon they have lost more than they won.
If more people knew about this forum then the PPC business wouldn’t be so lucrative. The robots follow the ROBO claim procedure - they do it day-in, day-out - it’s their job, and they are trained how to do it. But it’s very daunting for the uninformed.
A Utilities worker recently got a ticket in my residential car-park. We exchanged numbers. I subsequently gave him the Landowner details, and grounds for appealing the PCN on multiple points, including the illegality of the signage - Baysentry threw his appeal out. I advised him to stick to the process and appeal to POPLA. I asked a couple of weeks later on how he was getting on. He said he found it to much grief and paid-up. He would have won hands down.
This forum is great - but the vast majority of PCN recipients do not know about it. If I hear of anyone who gets a PCN I direct them here - but we need more than word-of-mouth advertising.

I agree.   But, every MSE thread is on Google so people should search
We have seen before people come on this forum thanking for the advice and they found the forum doing a search

There can be no doubt that this forum and search engines has created a lot of problems for this scam industry.   That is passed through to the courts

    You say:

    Yes, facts would be best
  • Hello all

I’vebeen reading the forum threads but I think I’ve ran out of things I can do and I need further advice.

On 26/02/2020 I parked in a car park that was managed by UKPC with my company car infront of curry’s store as I work as a rep and visit stores as part of my job. There was construction work going on so there were limited amount of parking spaces. The person who was parked on the right of my car parked at an angle in my parking spot so I had to match their parking but that got my car partly in the disabled bay parking spot. I was in curry’s for about half an hour which I could prove with the visitors book in store. When I left the store the car that was parked next to mine (I remember still it was a black bmw) was gone and I had a nice yellow sticker on my windscreen. I found the parking warden and I spoke to him but he said he couldn’t do anything and I had to appeal it online. I appealed on 7/3/ 2020 but I didn’t receive a reply. I started getting a lot of letters from different debt collectors companies which I ignored. Last year I left the job and changed address in august with another company car..This year I changed address again in March and beginning of September I got a “letter of claim” from DCBL  at my new address???
I complained to UKPC saying that I haven’t received a reply from them to my appeal so my case should still be with them and I don’t get why I’m receiving letters from other companies to which they replied saying they responded to my appeal on 13/03/2020 and I have no received such a respond. They also said that my case is now with DCBL and gave me email and phone number to DCBL limited not legal. I emailed the email address I was given by UKPC and DCBL limited said my case is with their sister company. I emailed UKPC DOP  team for SAR where they sent me the appeal response as well.

However, now that I received all the data and I actually have a POPLA code do I email them? Do I email DBC legal? I’m not sure on what to do. I received the letter of claim that’s dated 30.09.2022 and I obviously have 28 days  and I’m running out of time. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I also forgot to mention that I complained to DVLA as well. It is weird to me that more than 2 years later and changing an address twice DCBL legal got my new address and sent me a letter. They money they’re asking for is £160 as well.

If so you only need one thread per issue.  I have replied on your other thread.

I haven't heard anything more about the 'charge' I posted on here last year. Wondering if it's time for my annual dance with the DCBL lot XD

    Hi all respected Forum members

I need your help and support please.

Last year, I received a parking ticket from the Range and Lidl car park in Reading for slightly overstaying.

I have now received a claim form from the County Court Business Centre on behalf of DCB Legal. According to it, I have 14 days to pay £270. I would like to know what needs to be done at this stage. The documents I received in the past are not available to me.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
