I do get the feeling that "Walton Wilkins" will no longer be a feature of this forum.
I would agree.  He will be one of the first to bite the dust. Not so sure about SRS. I think that he could go upmarket to the sort of car parks where someone parks the car for the driver.

CALL TO ACTION TO ALL READERS OF THIS THREAD!

What we want you and everyone to do, is come back here (please) every week over the Summer and check for when the Government’s final Consultation gets released.

As said on every thread right now, we NEED people like you to have your say about Government policy re the level of parking charges to be applied next year onwards.

YOU CAN HELP TO MAKE SURE THAT, FROM NEXT YEAR, NO-ONE IN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES GETS A £100 PCN AGAIN!

NB TO NEW READERS: The new policy will become LAW and will also apply in Scotland - so this is a call to action to ALL posters and lurkers!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So is there another consulatation? I thought that there was already a general concensus (apart from the obvious comments from the PPC's that were trying to manipulate the results).

Be aware that this is neither persuasive nor precedent setting.

However, mentioning it will certainly make life a bit more difficult to the PPC.

It would appear that there has been much wailing and gnashing of teeth, sufficient to perhaps cause a wobble at the MHCLG. The PPC network won't lie down easily, but hopefully their final throes!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Maybe we will get the chance to mention Norma's case. Perhaps not by name.

This isn't a second run at the full consultation, this will only focus on the level of the parking charges.

So they are saying that there is no profit in it for them. Their published accounts and dividend payments tell a different story.

The level of parking charges comments must also include people telling the Government that no false ‘costs’ can be added to an already doubled and capped sum.

Sending more and more demands instead of using the small claims track cannot see PPCs and their debt recovery parasite mates inflating the sum of money again as some sort of ‘sharing of the spoils’ collusion.  Then they leave that sum tacked on and sue (and add court costs) on top, even though no debt recovery has taken place and no such costs have actually been incurred.

We all know that the unregulated debt recovery impersonators operate on a no win no fee basis, and those firms MUST simply be removed immediately.

The cap must remain the maximum, as the POFA 2012 intended that the sum on the PCN/NTK is to be the maximum sum recoverable.
