Stuart42 said:Just to let people know that I cancelled my DD with SP before they'd collected anything and they still charged me the Energy Exclusive rates didn't bump it up. Got my final SP bill yesterday and my final bill from YE this morning. So that should be me sorted (assuming SP can apply the credit successfully). Good luck everyone and thanks for contributing to this thread it has been very useful.0

Enter your postcode, and fill in the dropdown boxes. If you have both gas and elec, you have to do the exercise separately, once for gas and once for elec. In my case the elec tariff is very expensive compared to YE.0 -
Follow this link to Yorkshire energy helpdesk admin siteIt says:
"When will my credit balance be refunded?
Please be assured, all credit balances are guaranteed by OFGEM's Supplier of Last Resort process and Scottish Power will honour all credits. If you were in credit with Yorkshire Energy and you have received your Final Bill then please contact Scottish Power on 0800 559 3309 and they will arrange for your Credit Balance to be added to your Scottish Power account. If you do not have a Scottish Power account they will send a refund to you by Cheque. Please note, Yorkshire Energy are not issuing any refunds, since we are now in Administration so any queries relating to your Final Credit Balance should be raised with Scottish Power. You will need your Final Bill from Yorkshire Energy in order to claim your credit balance so please ensure you have received this before contacting them. If you have not received it yet, please be assured we are working as fast as we can to issue all former customers with a Final Bill and expect this process to be completed soon."
I HAVE received my final YE bill. I called Scottish Power to ask them to credit my account, and they said they have not received any notification from YE at all about my credit with YE. Going around in circles.

That page asks a few questions such as postcode, fuel, meter type, payment type , online tariff and then it will displays a list of all the tariffs that match those details.
Look down the page for "Energy Exclusive" or "Energy Exclusive Online" and click on the view link.0 -
Someone mentioned 'foreign' sounding helpdesk staff a number of posts back. I've emailed and web chatted with SP, in a desperate attempt to get my DD up and running. IT'S A WASTE OF TIME. They already have my bank details. My bank Nationwide, already has a DD steup in SP's name, it's been there for over a month now. But NOT setup on my SP account. This is the RUBBISH response I just received from the ever so helpful, but otherwise USELESS -- Subhankar Barua, Customer Services Representative -- as a reply to me email to them.
Dear Mr Slater,
Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding your energy account 16107203575.

And as of now you have the Receipt Cash Quarterly payment method.Once you informed us that tariff, we will go ahead a change the payment method, without your confirmation we cannot change the tariff from our end.You can fix your tariff for 1 year for £85.32 p/m, this includes an exit fee of £60.00 - £30.00 per fuel if you change supplier whilst on this tariff. I haven't trolled through the whole of this thread (it is rather large
. I also was with YE and now SP. My account with SP is set up and the DD is the same as it was with YE however they have only take one payment this week. I had a healthy balance with YE before they went bust as it was comming into winter. I have yet to see this either from YE or as a credit to my SP account. Therefor my SP account is showing an unhealthy defecit
.
SP say it will all come out in the wash but my concern is that they are stalling to stop me moving to a cheaper, fixed rate deal before the price cap goes up.I can ill afford to lose the credit that was built up with YE.Do I have to stick it out with SP until the credit comes through or can I move before and still get the refund at a later date?I could go into a fixed deal with SP I suppose but I'd rather be able to play the whole market.0 -

You're free to leave SP now. Plenty have. Just keep in mind that it might take some chasing of SP in the future to get your YE credit balance (but you won't lose it). If you switch now, SP may want you to settle your account with their own final bill.1 -

The Welcome page https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/solr/yorkshire-energy which was linked in the original email from SP (or you can find it on SP's home page) has an FAQ section down the page. In that, there is "What energy tariff will I move to when I transfer to ScottishPower?"
Expand that, you'll see in the text "click here" which is a link to https://web-content.scottishpower.co.uk/files/pdf/solr/Energy-Exclusive-Pricing-Leaflet-Dec20.pdf
That document gives the prices for all the regions.
