Just rang SP spoke to a rep who informed me that the final bill DD will go from my account on the 22nd Feb and my YE refund will be around the 23rd Feb could not say for certain but as my final bill has arrived from SP it was a good sign that things were on track for payments out and refunds in are on track

I wish I had, even just, £5 for every time SP say the final YE bill is coming shortly, next week, in a couple of weeks etc.Why don't SP say 'manyana' or 'tomorrow'!Tic tok1

It's alright saying that, but timing is everything - from end Nov to now has been the coldest couple of months of the year by far, so having big credit (I was £282 up) is quite normal going into this period. I tend to use 70% of my gas in the coldest 3 months of the year, the credit (ok, so may be a little excessive lol) is there to allow for that..it's only the fact that I haven't paid a couple of DDs for Dec and Jan that means all bar about £7 of that credit will have to pay for my last couple of weeks with YE and useage with SP.BedrockFred said:Thanks for that I will leave the DD open so they can collect the final payment, would be a lot easier if SP just took the payment from my YE credit and refunded me the remaining balance they will owe me £127.62, lesson learnt for me keep track of credit balance and don't let it get so big
Am I right in thinking the YE credit will be paid by cheque or will they pay it intomy bank account......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Another reply from SP when I asked WHEN my YE credit would be applied.Priyannita Chakraborty of SP replied: "I understand that the credit has not yet been transferred. Do not worry we have already escalated this on high priority"So that's OK then. NOT.

I rang in and used callback an SP rep rang me about 40mins later seemed a very knowledgeable chap and said if you have your final bill expect your YE credit in around 10 days but this is dependant in YE giving SP the info he then put me on hold and came back to say refund within a day or two of 23rd Feb either a couple of days before or after , it could tie in on when your DD is due but I would receive any credit by cheque as I had left0 -
I’ve received 2 paperwork bills from SP, nothing at all from YE.masonic said:
No paperwork has been sent to anyone else by post. Suggest you complain to them about the incorrect address and get them to correct it. If the address is wrong, perhaps the meter details are wrong too.Lisi299 said:My switch went well (not) still waiting for my credit to move over and a final bill from Yorkshire energy. Just logged in my online account with Scottish power totally wrong address for me not even same town. Total DPA breach if they have sent any paperwork there! What can I do?1 -
Phones4Chris said:Nothing new to report here, SP balance unchanged, no YE credit showing yet, Final bill unchanged, meter readings were all correct as provided etc.Was a standard DD taken - don't know yet!
Was the £52 DD what your YE one was? If so, that's the reason, SP did say initial DD would be the same as your YE.pallyman said:Took a DD of me today even though when i login it will not let me input my meter reads, also when i opened my account i did manage to change my DD to £67 per month but they have taken £52?
Yes it was my YE DD so i knew it was not enough.

I've had my "latest bill" (which was produced after I gave SP a 2nd meter reading a few days before my switch completed) and my "final bill" based on the opening meter reading from new supplier Neon Reef, both sent in the post, despite them being identical to my online account. Absolute waste of resources!masonic said:

@Lisi299 When you got your account number and created your online account, did you not check your details were as they should have been?

Did you not get the link to the Welcome Page https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/solr/yorkshire-energy either in your initial email or from the SP Home page. This topic is covered in the FAQs down the page.FAI said:I was a YE customer. Had £240 credit with them. Got moved to Scottish. (I have since left them).
Am I correct that Scottish has the job to credit me with the money owed me by YE?
If so I will pay my final bill from Scottish MINUS the credit owing me from YE.
Under the SoLR process there's no indication/requirement for how long this could take, so you'd might be best to let them take your final bill by DD and wait for a cheque

Thanks both, I stand corrected. I agree, what a waste of resources. I guess if a bill has been issued it is a fair assumption a copy will be sent in the post.Phones4Chris said:
