I have received a bill from SP which is 29% higher than I would have paid with YE. I spoke directly to YE administrators in Leeds and they gave me my final bill and told me what credit I had within 24hrs. This has been applied to my SP account and they have just taken it to pay their bill!. SP have given me 4 different tariffs since the 22nd Dec and charged me on the highest rate. Have had an ongoing battle with them since the end of Dec, which is still not settled. They have arranged to call me on 3 occasions and failed every time. Their customers service is the worst I have encountered. I moved to Bulb at the beginning of Feb, that took less than 3 weeks to complete.

Just to let people know that I cancelled my DD with SP before they'd collected anything and they still charged me the Energy Exclusive rates didn't bump it up. Got my final SP bill yesterday and my final bill from YE this morning. So that should be me sorted (assuming SP can apply the credit successfully). Good luck everyone and thanks for contributing to this thread it has been very useful.1

I had my YE bill from YE over a week ago leaving me in credit by over £27.
But the credit has not been applied to my SP account.
Does anyone know how long it is supposed to take to apply the ye credit to the sp account?0 -

Hello and thank you for your email.
Please be assured, we are working as fast as possible to produce Final Bills for all former Yorkshire Energy customers. We thank you for your patience whilst we complete this process. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with an exact date for when your individual bill will be produced. However, we expect this process to be completed soon.0 -

Not a great help but got this from YE
Thank you for the email.
We are currently processing final bills in batches , I appreciate this is not an ideal situation for you. It is not a situation we want to be in either, I can assure you, the moment yours is done you will receive an email and that information will be forwarded to Scottish Power who will refund whatever you are owed. For more info go to https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/solr/yorkshire-energy0 -
I haf my final bill from YE over a week ago and shows I am in credit. But this credit has not appeared on my SP account. SP say they are waiting for YE. Surely YE would tell SP at the same time as me (us) if we are in credit?

"Your final balance is in credit. Please be assured that your credit balance will be added to your new Scottish Power account or issued to you by cheque. Scottish Power will be in contact within the next 4 weeks to reimburse any credits owed."
I'm expecting SP to issue me a cheque sometime in March, because I've recently switched away from them (as they were >50% more expensive - ouch!) and I've already agreed a final bill.0
