No SP bills here, pending or otherwise. Here's hoping they leave it until my YE credit materialises. The variety in people's experiences with billing is surprising.
Did your meter readings tally up? I've got no bill either, but then the opening gas reading never displayed in my account so I'm wondering if that's why they haven't generated a bill? (they had the reading because it got passed to YE who used it for my final bill).
Everything tallied up on the YE side. I never got to see my opening reading added to my SP account as I'd already started my switch away from SP while YE validated the readings. Once you start a switch away you lose access to much of the information in the SP online portal. I suspect I haven't received a bill from SP because I didn't give them any readings other than the opening one. I wanted to avoid a bill being generated prematurely, which they might have wanted me to pay without taking into account the YE credit.
Think we’re in the same situation. My opening gas reading never showed in SP account. Like you I’ve switched away now so can’t see any readings anyway.  But with that data missing I guess the system can’t/won’t generate a bill.

I don't have a gas supply, so SP only had an electricity supply registered for me. Others who have provided readings have received bills using an incorrect starting reading. That wouldn't be possible with gas because the readings SP had were generally nonsensical, while the electricity readings seemed to correspond to the last reading provided direct to YE.

My switch went well (not) still waiting for my credit to move over and a final bill from Yorkshire energy. Just logged in my online account with Scottish power totally wrong address for me not even same town. Total DPA breach if they have sent any paperwork there! What can I do?
  • Nothing new to report here, SP balance unchanged, no YE credit showing yet, Final bill unchanged, meter readings were all correct as provided etc.Was a standard DD taken - don't know yet!

Took a DD of me today even though when i login it will not let me input my meter reads, also when i opened my account i did manage to change my DD to £67 per month but they have taken £52?
Was the £52 DD what your YE one was? If so, that's the reason, SP did say initial DD would be the same as your YE.
  • You couldn't make it up. Just made the fatal mistake of having a quick look at my detailed SP bill, after being pending. The first thing I notice is that they have used the wrong opening reading for electricity, resulting in an overcharge of £26.48. The gas is ok. So it looks like my morning (later) is going to be taken up checking everything else on the bill.
Latest here is that SP have admitted that they used the wrong elec reading. YES!
However, as of last thing today, they were having problems correcting it on their system. NO!

Furthermore my bill was showing 4 extra transactions (nett effect nil), where they have obviously been abortively trying to amend it. At least they used the correct tariff (correct in the sense of being as notified), and the calculations worked out.

As of now, I am back on ‘Bill pdf pending’, so I’ll see what tomorrow brings. Le sigh.
  • I also raised the issue of compensation with OFGEM, as mentioned earlier by other posters, £30 etc due to SP taking an inordinately long time to complete this process for ex YE customers, through no fault of ours. Suffice to say, I received a complete waffly, non-committal, non-answer. They suggested that I speak to SP, and usefully gave me their contact details. Which everybody has anyway.

I suspect SP won’t be nearly as slapdash and inefficient if it comes to chasing outstanding debts, and threatening court action.

No paperwork has been sent to anyone else by post. Suggest you complain to them about the incorrect address and get them to correct it. If the address is wrong, perhaps the meter details are wrong too.

...and how farcical is SP's billing system???
yesterday it showed a balance (based on reads, final leccy read, up-to-date gas) of -£231.18
yesterday they also took a DD of £95...
so you would expect a balance today of -£136.18, yes??

No - today's balance is showing at +£95.00!!!!! their billing system is so pants it's unreal!! No YE credit input yet, if there was, balance should have been +£102.odd...

Never mind, leccy's gone, only 3 more days and the gas will have moved also....SP will owe me about what the DD was on Monday...total farce..

Received PDF bill from SP online. Tallies correctly in terms of usage/cost. Absolutely no notification of the bill though by text or email so would’ve had no idea about direct debit due to claim the money on the 19th.
