SP generated my final bill with correct actual readings I had given Avro. Although I did give them to SP too when they sent an email asking for closing readings.masonic said:
I take it you are seeing this information through your Avro account? I've not seen other suppliers share the verification status of meter reads before. I doubt it will be the same story with my readings as I provided them almost a month ago.[Deleted User] said:Now on day 8 for the leccy verification with no sign of a resolution yet from the data collector.0 -
Interesting, I got no email asking for closing readings. There had been a lot of variability in the whole process.bagand96 said:

Just had my final YE bill through. Goodness knows where they got the so called Actual final readings from as they don't tally with anything I have supplied to YE or SP (in fact they don't tally with any of my daily read figures that I was keeping a record over period 5/6/7/8 Dec) or even anything SP have used on their bills (I had a couple of interims and a final). They're not massively out, about 18kwh Electric and 18m3 Gas (interesting they're both 18 units too high....) so they've overcharged me about £8-9 in total, but, as SP have undercharged me by more than £50 so I'm a net £41 up, I'm inclined to let it all go unless SP try and reissue bills based on these YE closing readings. It's really annoying the YE meter history has disappeared ..luckily I have photos of the meters on the days around the 6th Dec. I think it's a case of Watch this Space for now.0

I'm not seeing any electricity details on my Avro account (other than the MPAN). They do have both my meter serial number and the opening read I gave to them on switch day (both subsequently confirmed via email and chat). Been told that it may take up to 15 days before this read becomes verified and the details of the read (and the MSN) then shows. My opening gas read is visible but gives no indication as to its status so I assume it has been verified as this was the number SP used to close my gas account correctly. You can see that I am none to keen in giving SP what the opening electricity read from my new supplier is just in case the data collector decides that this opening electricity read does not lie within their verification upper and lower boundary limits. I seem to recall that YE may have done that (or was it Breeze? Or British Gas - not sure any more) perhaps listing it as 'Opening' and then subsequently 'confirmed' although my memory may be playing tricks with me.masonic said:

I'm just going to wait to see how the verification plays out for a while yet before rattling any cages as to the delay. 1 -
To be brutally honest, I’m struggling to keep pace with a 182 page thread but I do appreciate the info. Many pages ago I commented that SP had ballsed up entering the opening electricity reading I had supplied, albeit they had done the gas. When I rang, they asked me for the meter reading from my last YE bill (27 Nov), the current reading (21 Jan) and stated their team would estimate the start read as I’d submitted it via the form in early December without taking photos or writing it down. I assume that figure they came to, is the one that will go over to YE.GunJack said:
If you'd been following this thread, you'd have seen that the readings provided to SP in response to their e-mail on 7 Dec did briefly show in your YE account, if only for a day or two before they were removed. Mine along with many others on here were correct, so if you replied to SP's initial request for readings then there's no reason to doubt that YE will use the correct final readBossworld said:No sign of my YE credit but following from previous delay in the electricity opening read being added, just put another in and my electricity usage is through the roof.Hope to god YE get the correct final figure from SP
I’ve made an additional payment on my SP account for £200 to bring what I owe down to the usual DD amount.1 -
Yes, this is my dilemma, although it has been 15 days since my switch has completed and there is no sign the readings have not been verified. They were visible in my meter read history from the moment I submitted them. At this late stage I don't think there is any reason not to share them with SP, but I'm confused as to why they haven't been sent across automatically.[Deleted User] said:

Hi all, can I ask if anyone has had this experience. I have just received the final bill from YE dated 5/12. It is for period 23/11 - 5/12. They divided it into two parts, one 23-28 Nov with my normal variable rates (i.e electricity 10.885 p/kWh), and then 28/11 - 5/12 with "New" variable rates, considerably higher (i.e 14.405 p/kWh). I have not heard anything about being put on "new" variable rate. The bill usually was ca £60 for a month, and the final bill is £72 for 13 days.0

YE did increase their variable tariff during November, see https://www.safeenergyswitch.co.uk/yorkshire-energy-variable-tariff.phpKarolka said:Hi all, can I ask if anyone has had this experience. Stuart42 said:One last question from me just in case anyone knows. I have both my YE and SP final bills. £86 credit from YE and £120 bill from SP. From what I read above the YE credit could take a long time to be applied to my SP account. But I don't want the hassle of paying SP the full amount then having to chase them to get the credit back - and I don't see why I should effectively loan them £86 because the system is crap. So do you reckon I would be OK just to pay SP the £34 balance?
I had a SP bill of £140 and YE credit of £20. I made a payment of £120 to SP.
