    Happy new week, turtles.
    My weekend catch up.
Friday night- joiner arrived and wasn't in work mode, probably tired after busy week in work.  My floorboards not sorted out, he's replaced one but still very uneven. Hopefully someone else can do the rest this week before carpet is fitted.  Tradesmen just stress me out, hopefully other guy will get back to me.
Sat NSD, fed grandkids and took to local zoo. Nice walk around and they enjoyed the park.
Sun NSD - more painting all the landing and hall done now - just need floorboards sorted and flooring down.
Starting to think life is just work and house jobs atm. Really feeling down in the dumps, lonely and stressed out.
This week I plan to start some exercise,  go out somewhere new for a walk hopefully still in daylight.
    Grateful for
    Living close to amazing zoo
    Grandkids making me laugh
Lovely msg off friend today made me smile.

Am on 13 NSD's.  Yesterday I went to my favourite shop and got a couple of things for a certain dinner next month, used a voucher so they were free.  Have to get in more a routine and do more self care. Did not go to do voluntary work today as waited in for delivery.
    Grateful for:
My robin ornaments and book that I ordered last week came.
Did some of the cross stitch kit.
    Having a book to read.

Today I am grateful for the pupils I teach, for dh making a yummy shepherd's pie, for sorting out (I hope) a tricky matter at work, for for realising just how tensed up my shoulders and neck are and trying to consciously relax them, for being warm and dry.

My bed is made with lots and lots of layers (took nearly all afternoon). I did as much as I could before going to watch a film with mum and then did bits in the advert breaks. The big woolly quilt thing was heaved onto the bed and then I spent the next few breaks pulling and smoothing it across the bed until it was flat. Made a lovely meal with the remains of yesterday's beef, chips and veg. Now in my room with one of my candles lit and feeling very peaceful.

Grateful for a properly made bed, all the different layers to keep me warm, the joy of candles, reading lots of bits on self-care and CBT.

Right it's time to dance on the table and sing a little song, first day of cover work for a long time, and i still have another hour before I have to go. It means that there is a chance for November to come in on budget, it's been a bit tough as income has been low and I still have a slight over commitment from October. I still have lots of space in my budget, but not really the cash to match. And I have managed so far to stick with what's in the account/food only budget for a few weeks - it works wonders. And again it's the accountability to some of the threads on here that makes it all possible. In the olden days I would have just kept spending on a card, now I go - nope and eat whats in the shed. Also I feel it's good to not spend now, and I ope to then be able to have a nice day out w boys over Christmas as it will be a quiet one.
