  • Shrewbie - I meant to ask you if you saw any of the final leg of the Vuelta a Espana as it arrived in Madrid  a few days ago. I was desperately trying to recognise bits from when I was there all those yeats ago!

Quiet day, little bits of progress (copying f0xh0les 'puddles of tidiness'). Various piles of rubbish into appropriate bins, Last two white buckets emptied so now have room for more stones (stone buckets pile is bigger than the soil pile). Second load of washing done. Found room for more books on the shelves I thought were full and some candles in there too. Today I put some of my presents (large boxes) on the windowsill. Measuring progress by the empty boxes - 2 large and half a dozen small (small ones mostly 9" cubes.. Still some things in my room that shouldn't be, but not sure where to go with them. Mum complained because I putb 'biscuits for cheese' and 2 packs of choc hobnobs into an empty cupboard (festive food). Apparently it's the children's toy cupboard (a second one?). I pointed out that we will need the food in December and unlikely that we will be allowed to have children in the house before March.

Grateful for 'puddles of space' (still had problems trying to find somewhere to put my second foot whilst carrying a heavy box), spending some time just sitting in the yard - had a jumper on so not too cold, no rain, weak sun so no need for factor 50. Didn't think about what needed doing or how I would tackle various tasks, just sat quietly, just being. May start a 'packing bag' - weeding out all the bubble wrap and large clear bags might make things a little clearer.

  • Thursday- still NSD 8. Have started shopping for that day in December. Just a few stocking fillers so no huge expense. Made a few phone calls off the massive to do list so its fractionally shorter now!
  • Hello everyone!

No Apple I didn’t see la vuelta, I'm sorry to say I didn't even think of it! But actually now you mention it it would be fantastic to see them coming in one day. Did you recognise anywhere on the route?

I think I am on a shameful amount of NSDs.... I usually record them but have been lax this month, maybe only 3. Last weekend was spendy, and this week has no reason to be, I only have dinner at a friend’s house so will buy wine and dessert.

Little progress made on goals this week as had another debilitating headache spread over one night and two half days which really sapped my motivation. Need to get teeth and eyes checked first and then maybe a trip to the docs.

hopefully next week will be better.

Also I need to remember to choose to spend guilt free time relaxing, wanted to say thank you mothernerd for the reminder last month!

    Hope himself keep improving, toni'sfriend.

Today I am grateful for sunshine, for finding what I needed in the shops, for a good z00m meet, for my fabric stash, for chatting with some friends tonight.

Fingers crossed for a clear result, @f0xh0les

Have spent most (all?) days since I last posted - if not at smkt have been buying presents online (the odd book, a calendar - nothing too exciting) - have used cashback sites/ vouchers/ discounts/ rewards etc on pretty much everything, though :)

Grateful for tasty food using things we had in, a dry day, seeing swans on the canal when I went for a walk this afternoon, getting some things sorted out so that lots will be leaving the house once lockdown is over :)
