I need a turtle hug! DS1 is back at school since yesterday and has been told he has all his PPEs (that's mock exams in old money) tomorrow, but has no time, no room, no idea which subject is first, second, and third. When he asked, he was told he should have been emailed. There has been no email. He has asked his classmates, half did not get sent to isolate, so they have done their exam, the other half have less clue than DS1. He is currently on the ceiling with worry that he has missed something or done something wrong or is going to miss his exam by being in the wrong place. His best mate started coughing at lunchtime so took himself off home and got a test, he will have his results by Friday.DS2 is isolating for another 10 days. All of DS3's friends were sent home today to isolate after 2 kids in his year tested positive. DS3 can't understand why he has not been sent home, as it is one of his closest friends and they are together all the time in school. It makes no sense. DS4 has someone in his class off too with a confirmed positive case. I think they have just decided not to close the year groups. Up until half term, the rule was, if there were 2 separate cases in the year group, they would close the year. The day they got 2 positive cases, they changed the guidelines to 3 positive cases. They are making it up as they go along.Sorry if I sound grumpy, but the kids are now all really stressed out. It was bound to happen at some point, we have done well to keep them calm since schools shut in March, but they are properly stressing out now, and that makes me grumpy.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

f0xh0les - Sending you hugs.
Was a spend day. Got a tiny food top up shop, next weeks tv mag, some robin ornaments for a certain time in December - ordered them from a small business (robins mean alot to me), tea lights, also a book written by writers in Northern Ireland - short stories around December celebration.
Grateful for:
Going for a good walk.
Reasonable night's sleep.
Reading some of a book.

Himself was really unwell yesterday and spent the whole day in bed. A long term problem which he tries to ignore and refuses to get help for. I'll not go into details. It's been a difficult night. I am trying to make him stay in bed today again and I'll potter about. I really do have lots I could be doing.
Hope the little F0xh0les get everything sorted out.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
