As usual I've been awol again - and spends this month have been frequent, mainly due to Xmas/ bday shopping - but also some stuff-for-the-house shopping - my new pillows arrived today (amazing service from J Lew1s) - they're fab. Manky ones already in the bin for tomorrow's collection
Grateful for children all doing well with their relative education, for brilliant customer service, for DD still helping me clean and tidy the house (we are doing a thorough bottoming out of each room - decluttering, tidying and a full and thorough clean) - progress is now visibleand for some flebay sales of unwanted items

Evening all, checking in to report 12 NSD's, which is pretty good! However I haven't even started shopping for Xmas yet so this may come back to bite me! Really need to get sorted.
After 3 years of back pain I've been offered a date for a steroid injection next week, cannot wait! Hopefully it helps. It means I have to cancel some overtime as have to self-isolate but it should be worth it in the long run. The isolation time should give me a chance to catch up with myself, although will still be working from home.
Need to do a strategic shop tomorrow to see us through as if I send OH shopping he'll come back with nothing but cakes and treats and nothing from the list!
Made this month's car car payment, am absolutely chuffed that I've almost cleared 2k in 6 months. Little victories are making me happy!7 -

Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for keeping the pupils outside at lunch time in the drizzle until it passed, for a swift journey home, for beautiful colours on the tress, for dd finding some gifts for friends on etsee, for fleecy blankets.

Will aim for 5 NSDs this month since I’m the slowest NST to the challenge and planned to do my Christmas shopping tomorrow.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6 -
Hello, Idee2111. Nice to meet you.
It should have been a NSD yesterday but I wasn't. I had to order more gift tags because I can't find the ones that came the other day. Searched everywhere and just don't know where I've put them. You know what will happen, of course. The new ones will arrive and then I'll find the old ones. It's a combination of my memory (which is getting worse by the minute) and this house being so disorganised. All the more reason for getting it all sorted out.
Did quite well with yesterday's list but there are a few things on there that keep getting moved on to the next day. Undoubtedly because it's things that I really dislike doing. Have to really make a point of tackling at least one a day.
Must get on but first another coffee.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
I somehow ended up storing all the decoration,s the tree pieces, and the wrap and all that jazz in 3 old suitcases. A label on the handle (it says XM), and for 11 months they sit happily in the loft space, never get lost, a quick unzip and whatever you need is there. They can also be stored easily, the right one slid out and slid back in again. Whenever you find a bauble, it is a 5 second job to put it back. Plus it has a handle and nothing falls out when you lift it down.I nearly started buying tat for stockings today, but I managed to stop myself. The only things I bought were ys.
