I was planning some Christmas shopping today but am postponing until the weekend to get a couple of NSDs under my belt having just joined the challenge. I know it’s neither here nor there doing it today or another day but I now feel like I’ve climbed aboard and am part of the crew.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

NSD No 10
Got a couple of the stubborn jobs ticked off my list and another few extras done. Thank goodness I seem to be getting into a routine again.
The weather is horrible again but I am out tomorrow no matter what. Need to get milk and bread and maybe go to the butcher (the one that is within our boundary so I don't break the law). One of my lovely neighbours called me yesterday and said if I was having any problems getting shopping to let her know and she would do it for me. Some people are just so thoughtful.
Just having a coffee and then I'm off to get today's jobs done.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Gosh...we are 2/3rds through the month! Still a lot of NSD's to get in!
All is good with me, eaten well and yoga everyday - trying an recommitting to my routine, over and over again!
Have had 2 cancelled appointments today, so I am doing a bit oif catching up with housework and work.
There is abig backlog of Recycling to do, kirbside chaps didn't pick mune up this week, so I need to do in manually.
Grateful for being able to work from home, but find doing all of my life - including talking to troubled folk - quite hard ro manage. Glad to be going up to be in my bubble in London later today.

I have done my good deed for the day! Helped out a friend. Delivered some food parcels.Went into Will &Co and they had a fab ys section, got a Number 1 shaped cake tin for 50p, DS4 is 11 in 4 weeks! I can do 11 jelly, 11 cake, 11 tiffin, 11 ice cream, 11 pie, so many possibilities! They had 10p packets of seeds @mothernerd if you know anyone who goes there anyway... thought it was worth a heads up.So now I am back at home for half an hour before I head out again. I am still within budget. I have done an inventory of the pantry and freezer, I have made a meal plan, and a small shopping listbut I do not think I need to buy anything until Monday.I did find my ds4 reading all the shopping receipts he could find in my shopping bags (in the back seat of the car) out loud to his brothers. Good job I have not started their shopping yet. I am going to have to be very carefulNSD 13.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for making a successfully scrummy chocolate caramel shortbread, for dd having quite a good day, for getting items for hampers to donate, for a warm house, for people at aldee just waiting politely and patiently for the traffic light entry system to go green before entering rather than just walking in through the open door.

Hair cuts today for me and DS so £40 plus that cheeky wee chocolate bar at 75p. Tomorrow is shopping delivery day so today I was eating up the few leftovers we had. I’ve recently been more deliberate with measurements to make food go further and have less waste i.e cutting chicken breasts so that they cover 3 night’s meals instead of 1! It’s quite a fun little challenge in itself. Am I being a bit sad here with my chicken challenge?! Haha.
Still to do Christmas shopping which shouldn’t be too expensive now having agreed with some family that instead of presents, we will have a big day out together in better times.
Hope everyone has had a good day.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6
