Thanks for all the replys all, how is this looking as a reply to the SAR?

    "Thank you for your reply.

You have stated on the SAR that keepers details were obtained by other sources, not the DVLA. Please be aware that documentation (replies) from the DVLA fall under the remit of a SAR , could I have copies of each and every reply from the DVLA in your next response?

As I'm sure you're aware, the only way a vehicles registered keeper can be held liable is if Capital Car Park Control obtain the registered keepers details from the DVLA.

I have included a copy of my SAR reply from DVLA who say that Capital Car Park Control did NOT request the keepers details for XXXXXXX and I therefore question the way the keepers details were obtained, to obtain the details in a different way and use them for another purpose is a significant breach of the DPA/GDPR and the impacted person, myself as the keeper, could sue the Capital Car Park Control on that basis.

Should your reply not be satisfactory, I shall inform the ICO and BPA , how there member (Capital Car Park Control) have failed , and also the fact that sole trader has assigned claims to Capital Car Park Control who have then instructed another BPA member (dcbl) to harrass me.

I look forward to your reply.

    Mr XXXXX XXXXXX"

Should I also include that the the ltd company did not exist at the time of the tickets?

Thanks, copy and paste job without checking spellings  :#

  • I'm confused by the first line - so they didn't say they obtained data from the dvla?

    Edited the first paragraph:

"You have stated on the SAR that keepers details were obtained by other sources. You have also stated that the keepers details were obtained from the DVLA.  Which one is it?

Please be aware that documentation (replies) from the DVLA fall under the remit of a SAR , could I have copies of each and every reply from the DVLA in your next response?"
  • Don't ask, demand.

Please be aware that documentation (replies) from the DVLA fall under the remit of a SAR, therefore please provide copies of each and every reply from the DVLA in your next response, or otherwise confirm that no such DVLA documentation exists (meaning my data was not retrieved from the DVLA)
