Keep reading it until you understand it. It is vital that you learn the rules of the game if you do not want to pay this.Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, sometimes it can lead to cancellation., Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers. On 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and hopefully this will become law shortly

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
We have a family solicitor should I speak to her also?0

Why not, but imo It is unlikely that she would know anything more than we do about private parking scams. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

I have requested the SAR from the appeals at PPl so awaiting that back..... so what do I do know......stress.....0
-
That is all you were meant to do , a SAR to PPL
https://premierparkinglogistics.com/privacy-policy
With your name and address and proof of I D under the GDPR law , like a copy of your V5C , but not the driver details , ignore leading questions like that one
You could write (not phone) DCBL with a letter denying the alleged debt , telling them to place the matter on hold for 30 days whilst you are seeking legal advice and guidance on debt management. Never phone them , it won't help at all , all they want is a payment in full from you , nothing else. Phoning them will just give you more stress !!! Writing is allowed and recommended , even if your lawyer friend assists with the wording3 -
Do NOT under any circumstances tell them the driver's name, remember you are submitting a SAR to the DPO of PPL as keeper (for acronyms read the NEWBIE sticky fifth post) and add a scan of your V5C (assuming it has the most up-to-date address on it).3

Never say who was the driver, they are not entitled to such information.
The PPC got your info from the DVLA, you responded from the same address and same person so all that is needed is a COPY of your V5. Maybe a redacted copy of a utility bill. That will satisfy data protection
By all means talk to your solicitor friend but experience says that their knowledge of the parking scam is zero.
The good people on here fully understand the scam, that's why the dodgy legals we see on here get spanked by the courts. Doubtful your solicitor or indeed mine could achieve this3
