    hello everyone!

just to say sorry to jo, i know what its like! just failed one of my assignments, i have been at uni for years, gone back after i worked for 3 years!! so i thought i would just sail through it this time, being a old hat at it,
but no i have to put the essay in again so can do final year !!! I was furious at first, but now after sitting in the garden with red pianted toenails, reading novels ( like rage in eden suggests) feel much better!!

you will see it will all come out with the wash!!

She posted a couple of things earlier, but is offline, so I guess she's coming and going as and when. Feel really weird writing about someone I don't even know - but after I short while I've really begun to care about what everyone on here thinks and feels. So, hugs to C_Q and hope you feel better soon.

    Hi everyone! :hello:

Thought that I would say good morning as Queenie must be busy.

What is everyone doing today? Anything exciting?

I have done some ironing, walked dog, took DS to school and a few other bits.

Anyway, have a nice day!

    :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :jWahey got my breadmaker this morning. Bought a morphy richards stainless steel one for £17.00 from a trader on e-bay. I was so excited I'd barely got it out of it's box before the ingredients went in. ( I did clean the pan first;) ).
So I'm making basic white first and I may experiment later with something else.
Making steak pie for dinner tonight
Washing a pair of curtains,(more e-bay) for my daughters room, and taking advantge of the good weather to wash the big duvets etc.

Have a lovely warm day everyone

You'll have to browse the whole breadmaking thread but there are quite a few comments on various breadmakers mixed in among the tips and recipes. You can find the thread via our "Collections" sticky at the top of the board, or just follow the clue in my signature below :)

    Hiya

Have been rushed off my feet today. Went to mum's first thing and have cleaned the house, done some ironing, taken DS2 to pre-school and have come home and cleaned my living room. Managed a brew somewhere along the line too :)

It's my sister's 40th so we're all off out for a meal tonight (yippee) I need to run my vac round the rest of the house quickly then I shall have a bit of 'me' time before I have to do the school run - might even get chance to put a bit of nail polish on the old tootsies.

Off to warm up some HM carrot, lentil and coriander soup and get a meal out of freezer for my after school charge (luckily I have a portion of my cottage pie which he adores in there) His parents must rate my ability to feed their boy - not only does he now ask for lots and lots of veg, but I've 'won' his younger brother too, from September. Ho hum - 4 boys round the tea table every night - ah well, it might keep my 2 quiet, but there again......
