chickadee wrote:I am just off to peruse the internet to get a replacement ink cartridge for my aged printer. Previously I would have popped into WH Smith at lunchtime but they are about £20 or more there. I reckon I can get a recycled one for less than a tenner on the net.
Try ebay. That's where I get my ink cartridges from - both compatibles and printer manufacturer's own. When you get onto the search page, just tap in the code/part number of the cartridge or the model number of your printer.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

Not much of an OS day today. Went off to nearest city to buy our meat for the next 3 months in bulk. That filled the chest freezer and should keep us a fair old while. A big expense but by buying in bulk i get a discount and it saves time as we won't need to go again for a few months.
Went into the Asian part of the city and found an Asian supermarket. They had loads of spices and dirt cheap prices. Managed to get all the spices i wanted in big packs at a fraction of Tesco/asda prices... not to mention a big bag of (cheap) rice that'll keep us going for ages.
Spent this evening chopping up meat and dividing mince up into 1lb bags. Managed to pick the raspberries (they've really started to go bananas now!) , washed & froze them. Made some little jars of mint sauce. They'll be nice to give away in winter when people start to go back to lamb&gravy meals rather than salads.
..and where is my breadmaker? still no sign of it....0 -
