    They were supposedly getting BG to collect any debit balances (presumably as a collection agent on behalf of the administrators), but no sign of anything on that front yet.

    Hi, I'm a NR casualty.  Back in early Dec, I was moved to British Gas Evolve 'Variable' tariff, which I think is the Standard tariff.  Valid til 31st July.

    I've crunched my numbers into an energy comparison provider but it seems I'm on the lowest tarrif already.

    What can people advise before any changes on 31st March?  Thanks.

    I was getting similar in Opera last night.

    The British Gas website says it was updated yesterday but I can't see any change https://www.britishgas.co.uk/solr/neon-reef.html

    The British Gas website says it was updated yesterday but I can't see any change https://www.britishgas.co.uk/solr/neon-reef.html
    Not looked at the page for some time but maybe this bit is the update?

    "We also wanted to let you know that because you are on a variable tariff, the price of your energy will be going up when the new Ofgem energy price cap changes on 1st April 2022."

    I see that they are now showing the Welcome to BG tariff on the BG tariff information pages and on the Tariff info on the accounts as having

    Price Guaranteed Until   not applicable

    whereas previously it was showing

    Price Guaranteed Until    31 July 2022

    Somewhat disingenuous and underhand I would say.

    Fortunately I took a screenshot of the original guaranteed one (and have had it confirmed by a chat agent with a transcript) so I like to see how they are going to deal with the numerous complaints that come in after April 1st if they don't hold the tariff.

    I still have kept the original email which has 31/7/22 as end date.

    Strange...but that's also just how NR used to show it on mine (incrementing every day) even though it was a fixed tariff through to June 22, although on my stepdaughters they showed the end date as being the correct end date for her fixed tariff (not that that matters anymore....😥)
