If you are interested in trying to get  some of the £240 back and you  paid via credit card, there is a route to take it might or might not work (only cost is time) if the holiday ends up being cancelled   but I know not everyone is interested in that, and I completely understand,  but just put that option out there.

  • Anyone who's recieved their refund, did you have to pay any costs?  I'm looking at the options and it says to receive a credit note you pay "non refundable amount £152 this price is made up of non refundable fees and cancellation costs".  It doesn't really give much information about cash refunds.  I'm due to travel 24th may 2020 and I'm happy to wait for them to contact me to process the refund but I don't want them to be taking money for fees and costs.   What's my rights, what should I say  if they try to add on these fees?.   The holiday is paid in full.
    Thanks.

    Hi
Wanted to quickly share my refund experience with jet2holidays
Booked full package holidays last year to Lanzarote including£50 insurance for a family. Full cost just over £2.5k

Were due to travel on 11 April. Received few emails about holidays being cancelled and suggestions to login and reschedule. Did not ask to reschedule, as wanted a full refund.

Jet2holidays called on the day of our travel,11 Apr and I asked for a refund over the phone. They explained that will refund within 10 days all money, except the travel insurance.

14 days later refund was processed

Interesting that the Cancel holiday option online for me has now gone.  It was available a week ago.I am at day 73 so was leaving it to the last minute as to whether cancel online and forfeit deposit or not.
Option now out of my hands.  A cynic might think !!!   No idea why they would remove this option.

    Days until your holiday

    Cancel your booking

Your Jet2holiday can't be cancelled online. Instead, please email

  • Hi apologies if this has been posted and answered already but there's a lot of forums threads to get through. We booked our holiday to Turkey in February  it was cancelled because of the pandemic of course. We received an email to confirm cancellation and that they will be in touch shortly because they are dealing with customers in departure order  we were due to fly out on 13th April and have not heard anything since . Is this the norm. We have heard from a couple of people that their families were due to go after us and have received contact from Jet2
