I had a holiday booked for the 1st June and had a call from Jet2 yesterday evening who left a voicemail to call back.

I have already booked a new holiday for next year (as rooms were selling fast and prices were rising) so I called Jet2 this morning and they have issued a full refund which I can use to pay for next year's holiday. Should be done in 3 to 5 days.

Very happy with their service to be honest.
    Hi Terry,
When they rang me, they did not leave a message, and the number on my caller display goes to a responder that just tells me they are not taking calls.
So, PLEASE, tell us what number they gave you to call back on.

When I spoke to them they said the refund email will say nil because the refund has been processed and that means there is now nothing left to refund.

It should be in your bank within 5 days. My refund has just hit my account.

Admin Fee with Jet2 - I changed the date of my holiday with Jet2 in about September 2019 and they charged me £250 admin fee to change the holiday to a different date (we were supposed to be going 12 June 2020).  This has now been cancelled by Jet2 who are refusing to give me my admin fee back.  If I re-booked with them they were prepared to waive the admin fee due to Covid 19 but will not give me the original admin fee back even though it is them who cancelled it - Can anyone give me any advice?  I just don't how they can keep the £250 admin fee when they cancelled it - £250 is a lot of money to lose when we are out of work and are still waiting for a payment to come through from the government with being self employed :O(

    UH?
In Sept 2019, you thought it was reasonable for you to pay £250 for them to provide you the service of some administration. They provided that service back then. It might have been expensive, but you put upon them the chore of re-selling your original booking to someone else. They did that. It was you that wanted it and you that got it. Whoever bought that holiday has their own contract with Jet2.
The £250 was not for part of the cost of your cancelled 2020 holiday that they haven't provided. That's not owed to you.
Your employment status now is not really their concern, either.
Sorry, but I side with them.

I had a holiday booked with on the beach for Tenerife. Flight was with Jet 2. I had an email from Jet 2 saying they would refund me the cost of the flight within 28 days. Coming to the end of that 28 days. Starting to get twitchy

Just as I wrote this an email came through to say it had been processed
  • Hi, we had flights booked to Italy, outbound 15th June returning 19th June. Jet2 had set the date of 17th for resuming flights and today emailed saying they will refund the full amount of the booking but only showing details of outbound flight. Can't get through to customer services to get details. Where do I stand getting a refund for return flight?

Hi, Just in case anybody else is in the queue waiting for Jet2 to contact.

We had a package holiday booked with Jet2 departing on the 15th of June, so in theory one of the last to be contacted from intial time frame. I received the call today from them and we chose to get the refund as we can't take off holiday later this year and are hoping to go Vegas next year.

They didn't question or try push us to anything else, just agreed to the refund and said this will be in our account within 3-5 days.

I then got a confirmation email of this minutes later.

    Overall was happy with Jet2.

Does anyone who has managed to get a refund off Jet2 holidays have a contactable telephone number - holiday for 25th April was cancelled, 17th April received an email giving options of a change of date or credit vouchers, it said if these options were not suitable they would contact me in within 10 days. Now in May have received two emails one sending me all the vouchers for hotel, transfer etc for the holiday that was cancelled and then another this week displaying an invoice with no refund due. Really need to contact them - I have had no response from their customer service email address

    Any help would be appreciated
