On Wednesday 9th April 2014 i had 4 missed calls from 01489587200 and a
texted "Hi jayne, you need to call me asap regarding your Vodafone
account. kind regards 03300888999 ext 11316 ask for Jake Stevens.
So as i was concerned about my account i gave them a call.
They said there wasn't a problem on my account but they had been passed over my account as they was partner of vodafone and could offer me a better personal customer service with a dedicated team.
As i was a really good customer of vodafone with 4 contract lines that
i qualified for extra savings etc
I could ether have a ipad mini or another phone for FREE.
i thought i dont need another phone as only just upgraded in January
2014.
They said to have the ipad on my account would cost less than the
approx £75 a month that i pay at present for my contracts.
With the ipad mini and myfi 2gb ( 24 months) and 4 contracts that they
could do for £63.30 + £7 for and asked what the catch was and he
replied there wasnt one, that i had been a good customer and they was
there to provide a good service and to keep customers happy.....
He assured me that onecom was a partner and i checked and they was.
That there was a 7 days cooling off period. I did think it was a bit of a scam but he reassured me it wasnt ...its just because i got 4 lines.
And i agreed to go ahead for something that would be FREE/ no extra
than i pay now, that they would be dealing with my accounts and that i
still can use my online account management....that i would actually be
benefiting.
I was passed onto accounts where everything was set up etc and they
took my account details.
Ipad mini and myfi with vodafone sim card for it arrived Friday 11th
April 2014.
I was thinking during the night what if i didnt have the ipad mini and
myfi would my charges be even less as i didnt really need the items (
my cheap tablets are better spec and our phones have internet)
Tried calling onecom this morning and only tech team in till monday !!!
So then i googled onecom and found lots of bad things about on money
savings site.
So started me worrying hence why i have contacted you - because i wont
need this ipad etc if going cost me more in long run - but seen there
has been problems with other customers getting out of the contract.
I now really confused who does my vodafone account !!
i tried calling vodafone billing via 191 today and no longer get ofered the option to speak to accounts.
I presently get £35 a month savings with vodafone through employee advantage scheme and other savings as got 3 lines at same time....will i lose these !!!Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -

Here is my story…
I was aware that someone was calling me many times around the time so I was curious to find out who was calling and answered the call on 4th Dec 2013. I was told that was a sales manager lady from Vodafone.
(Today I was told that it wasn’t from Vodafone and was from Onecom!!!)
I am a Vodafone customer for 13 years.
The sales lady said that I am VIP customer so I am qualified to get a free hand set and a free contract. Below was what we discussed on the phone.
1. They will give me a free hand set
2. They will give me a 12 months free contract of £10.50.
(I need to start paying from the 13months if I wanna keep the number, but the contract is 12 month long. So in the theory, its free phone & contract.)
3. I can cancel anytime (“but why don’t you need to cancel? Because it’s completely free!” – this was what the sale lady said!)
4. They would take £21 monthly (£10.50 / my current contract and £10.50 /new contract) from my bank account but Vodafone send £10.50 as cashback to my bank account every month. So they took my bank details.
I asked and the sales woman confirmed that the contract is absolutely free more than 3 times.
Soon after I received new hand set, the contract started. About a month later, I got a bill, and then they took money from my bank but I don't see any cashback. I waited for a week after the payment to see if it would come through, but I don’t get anything. So I called Vodafone UK to find out what is going on.
I talk to a gentleman at their bill department on 191. He said…
“I can see your contract which offered a free handset but you need to pay £10.50 monthly for 12 months.”
I really couldn’t believe it.
I asked them to put me through to the complaint department.
I explained what we discussed with her about the contract at the first place, a lady from the complaint department said that they needed to listen to the initial conversation on their recording, so then they will call me within 3 days. However, they DIDN’T.
I called them again 5 days later.
They hadn’t listened to it yet. Another lady said that they would listen to it and promised to give me a call within 5 days.
Yes she kindly did call me today.
She said, “The person who made an offer wasn’t from Vodafone. She is from a Vodafone Partner Service. That’s why we couldn’t fine the recording.”
And she told me to call a Vodafone Partner service. It is Onecom.
I called Onecom using a number which she gave me. (033 33 044 550)
However, it was close. They open only 8am – 6pm on Monday to Friday.
I have to ring on Monday hopefully. See what they say. I hope that I can get what they initially said. However, it seems quite difficult I guess. So many people are victims of this company.
I really have no idea why I need to get involved to this company. I thought that I was having the contract with Vodafone, because I get the bill from Vodafone but my second phone is managed by Onecom. Its so complicated!!!
I am so stressed and sad. I didn't have any problem with Vodafone for 13 years. Now, after the lady from Onecom rang me, it went all wrong.
Thank you very much for reading this.
Please give me help and give me tips. It would be appreciated.
I will keep updating what is happening here.
Thank you.
I seem to be having same problem...recived call 9th April - ipad and 2gb myfi arrived 11th April - have opened package but all items still sealed.
Had 2nd thoughts last night as worried was a scam ...soo googled it and came here x
Packages still all sealed - has anyone ever said anything good about them - worried if they talk me into staying that will lose my savings i presently get from vodafone.
Can i get back from onecom to vodafone ???
when i try calling 44555 gives me the option something about a Red sharer plan - and want to see how much date your group has used this month
Lee - i have contacted you like others.

worrying myself sick that same thing as post 44 might of happened to me - as she went on something about being a sole trader or business and i had to ask her what she meant - " do you use phones for work or home " ( or something like that)

I think i might of been caught by this scam
I was silly and gave them my bank account details as thought they was part of vodafone xContact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
I called vodafone today assure me that my accounts are still with them and be staying with them .
That I will deal with them as normal , that onecom have just provided me with an additional free line (going phone one com and make sure its truely free ) as I asked her if they could start charging me which she said they could do.
Only the ipad and myfi are with onecom.
Sounds a bit suss as nothing is for FREE although my greed says to hang onto it if its Free ... I am always going to worry that they will want start to charge for it.Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
Worry about who has hold of my vodafone account i managed to get through to Vodafones billing twice to be told by both lovely ladys that all my 4 mobil accounts are with vodafone and will stay with vodafone , That my savings on my account would not change and i could upgrade as normal when it was time through online with Vodafone or in shop - Also that at no time will my accounts be or have been transferred to Onecom - i did ask that both conversations had been recorded and notes to say what i had asked had been put on to my account.
Both lady's said the ipad and myfi was totally free to myself as additional lines - i then asked if at any time could Onecom start to charge me for the ipad and myfi which neither could answer.
What should be my next step - call onecom and get them to clarify what Vodafone is saying is right as i do not want to be with Onecom if this weekends experience or just send ipad and myfi back as its too good to be true and i could be taken over by onecom and get extra charges and charges for myfi sim !!!Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
It won't be and they will. As for Vodafone; they'll tell you anything to get rid of you.0

So no chance of it being true at all - Its all lies from Vodafone ?Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
Vodafone's usual response is to lie, make false promises and laugh at their customers (except for the WRT). If you have a "free" line, who is providing it? Onecom isn't a network, but a mercenary shark who will try to trick the unwary into contracts they didn't ask for or want. Menawhile. Vodafone freely passes all your personal account details over to them because ultimately they benefit from Onecom's activities. Neither care one jot about their long-suffering customers.0

I have decided that even if its totally FREE that i do not need Ipad mini or 2gb Myfi - and under the distance selling regulations that i have 7 working days starting the day after i got items to change my mind and send back.
I could do without worry's or risks that they may change my contracts / accounts for the next 24 months.
I wish my accounts to remain solely with Vodafone and no 3rd party company.Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0
