IMO all the Vodafone rep has done is make it look as if they have something to hide.
Like selling your details to a scam company perhaps?0 -
I put the questions directly to the vodafone rep on a related thread. No reply. All he said was complaints are dealt with on an individual basis. Onecom are claiming to be vodafone partner of the year for the past 3 years running. The vodfone rep wouldnt confirm or deny this was the case. I asked why when there are so many complaints they dont do anything. All i got was the response above about individual complaints. Its not really good enough. If there are so many complaints about one partner then vodafone should deal with it as a single issue rather than make customers complain then try to fob them off.
The reason is obvious. vodafone are 100% complicit in what onecom are doing. After all, they are the ones who financially benefit. Actually some of the things onecom are alleged to have done are plain and simple criminal fraud. Again vodafone benefit so they are more than happy.
I will say one thing for vodafone though. They are not the only company to have a similar issue with a partner company ripping off customers in this way. O2 also have a fair number of complaints.0 -

Maybe if they had sent me a total break down of the account before making me take it on things might of been different.
As i don't feel everything was made very clear - people need time to think, didn't help that i couldn't contact them on Saturday when i needed to speak to them.
To me the offer of a totally free ipad and 2gb Myfi unit seemed a bit too good to be true and then coming to this group has not helped as i heard nothing but horror stories about Onecom...i might of missed a good deal...but i will never know xContact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
I hope you have learned an important lesson or two.

LOL, I have read that and it sounds like: "We will continue giving out our customers information to onecom who we know are lying to our customers and tricking them to sign up to new contracts (often business with no consumer protection)"
How far have Vodafone fallen - Once they were by far the best UK Mobile Network - Now they are the dogs. They even give this bunch of alledged scammers/con artists partner of the year - no doubt for signing up thousands of new contracts0 -
My personal review on onecom is :
Sales people can be pushy and not tell you everything or seem to hide some costs.
Account manger Beth is BRILL so helpful today and spent time telling me the costs and helped explain everything to me....true cost on my contract would of actually been £15 more a month for Ipad mini and 2gb Myfi.Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
Sorted today - lovely lady called Beth called me from Onecom was really good - no trying to sell me anything - has arranged me sending back x
Very helpful in telling me the full costs of the contract which actually worked out to be £15 more a month than i pay now !!!
So if anyone has a problem with accounts etc hope your lucky enough to get Beth to help !!!
Sales people and Legal people in onecom too pushy and speak too fast !!!Contact me on facebook Cherie Walpole x0 -
Sounds like you avoided paying for a "free" line etc.
Sales people are "pushy" because making the sales determines their income; no sale, no income. Caveat Emptor rules - buyer beware. Never agree to anything from an unsolicited phone call without written confirmation first. When that doesn't materialise you'll know it wasn't what you were promised.0
