Hi Folks
I urge you all to document your concerns formally to Ofcom, Trading Standards and all media.
Allowing OneCome to access our personal information is a flagrant violation of Vodafone's privacy policy and of their statutory obligation to protect our data. I am appalled that they have allowed this and will be seeking redress for the aggravation caused!
Scandalous!!!

Perhaps Lee can answer some questions about this. Its about time someone from vodafone did.
So Lee:
Onecom are claiming to be vodafone partner of the year for the past 3 years. Is this true?
Are vodafone aware of the problems with onecom mis-selling contracts?
If so then what are they doing about it?
If not then how can they explain that position given the huge number of complaints direct to vodafone and on web forums about onecom. Do vodafone employees also not watch TV?
If onecom are an official partner and vodafone are financially benefiting from from what is legally fraud then surely vodafone are culpable and should be cancelling/refunding ALL onecom customers who complain rather than giving them the run around.
So come on. How about an official vodafone response?0 -

I've contacted you via the website as requested.
Update on my case:
Onecom have said that they dont know why it was switched to a business (yeah right) however i did agree to it on the verification team. Even though I said if I had it was because I wasn't expecting the details to change from the original call. This surely isn't right?
I've emailed them again because they only answer once and then ignore you, this time they have wrote the following:
Dear Steve,
As per our conversation regarding your mobile phone contract, I would like to ask if you could provide written consent to us releasing the calls relating to this. Ordinarily we would ask for a payment of £10 for transcripts, however under the circumstances I will waive this fee.
If you could forward these to the below address care of myself, I will be happy to arrange copies to be sent.
I am keen to ensure we reach a mutually satisfactory resolution.
Kind Regards

hi lee this is reference you asked for

hope to hear from you soon0 -
Hi,
It appears after many days investigating, Onecom came back and said for the 4th time they won't cancel my contract because I said I was I sole trader, I dont have the right to cance within 7 days. Well they must be giggling in Onecom canteen, aren't they clever how they've hidden behind this silly law, and managed to generate dirty money from mugs like me.
Lee from Vodaphone has not really helped at all, I already told him I agreed I was a sole trader, the issue is the cold call, the acting like they worked for Vodaphone, having my private information, the onecom quick hard sell.
The Onecom lady said this was a free gift from vodaphone, she new my contract, my usage, number of phones, when my tarif ends. This informatiin is private, vodaphone are the only people who could have handed this out to Onecom, I always tick NO to passing my information to 3rd parties.
I am happy to give Vodaphone and Lee a final chance to get this number cancelled,
I no longer have the phone, the whole processs has been time consuming, costly , hugly annoying, if it was meant as a Vodaphone free gift as the Lady from onecom said, its so off the mark, I will move my business contract from Vodaphone next month when it expires, been their for 10 years, but this is disgraceful abuse of my private details.0
