If flight is within 7 days and therefore cancelled you can submit a refund request on Easyjet new online form available on the website.....
Absolutely; we were due to fly to Croatia for a package holiday on 20th April which was cancelled by EasyJet yesterday. They had already tried the "vouchers for another holiday" line, which I ignored and after they informed us that the trip was cancelled we received an email from them stating we could have a refund if we applied for it.

I found the form on their app and have applied to them; supposedly we should receive the refund within 28 days with any luck. ;)  We also have travel insurance and of course I put the holiday on a credit card, so we have got a three pronged approach if needs be, but I'm hoping it won't be necessary and we will get the refund from them without too much trouble.

  • I have had to travel 6 trips abroad with SAS / Jet2 / Turkish / Lufthansa / Ryanair and EasyJet. No problem with speaking to the other operators to cancel flights but EasyJet just cut you off when you phone and don't even allow you to queue! It is a farce. Eventually I found a form on their FaceBook site which allowed me to submit a refund request. Why isn't this an option when you review your booking on their Website or App?
  • Well after I decided to get my CC company involved I have had an email from Easyjet stating my refund is being processed, coincidence? Apparently their next correspondence will be the outcome of the request.

I think easyjet deserve a bit of credit. Yes, getting a refund is difficult mainly due to the large numbers involved. However, at least Easyjet are giving refunds which is more than you can say for a lot of travel businesses who seem happy to break the law....

Sadly not for holidays customers, just flights. Good luck everyone.

Our flight was cancelled on 16/03 and have received an e Mail from easyJet saying REFUND BEING PROCESSED.  We still have not received anything. We have tried all of the phone numbers suggested with no joy.  Does anyone know of an e mail that gets a response, or any other advice would be gratefully appreciated.
I would advise you contact them via Twitter- I'd had an account for years but never actually used it or tweeted anyone (not even sure how to do that!). I sent them a message and they replied within 24 hours asking for flight details, I requested a refund.
Pleasantly surprised to see the full amount refunded onto my credit card within 2-3 days, the day it went back on my card was the day we were meant to fly. Personally, I'd give up with trying to make contact via telephone.

This is the form I used and as far as I'm aware it covers the package holiday we booked through EasyJet. It should cover the whole package, flights, holiday etc.

I tried but it said my booking reference has to be prefixed with a letter. I’ve submitted a general form but had no response in a fortnight. I’m sure it’s all good and I’ll have to sit tight, just a bit worried I’ve been forgotten about as they deal with flight customers.
