Easyjet cancellations and refunds

Just checked my CC online (registered today) and payment has been sent from Easyjet, total for both outbound and inbound so many thanks to them and all the info on here.

Hello sorry to jump on this thread but does anyone know if easyjet can facilitate a booking to be split. Some of my relatives on the booking made by my brother wish to change and book a later date others wish to keep original fare/flight booked and have the option of obtaining refund or voucher once the flight is cancelled? Please help anyone aware if this is possible or if similar airlines do this? Thanks

I will be interested to hear if people are managing to get refunds from Easyjet using the new online form. I see they only say they "aim" to refund within 28 days and not to chase them unless it has taken 90 days. That's a heck of a lot more than the 7 days they legally have to refund us by.

I'm willing to give them some leeway given the high number of claims but I am suspicious this is just a ploy to prevent debit card chargebacks as they can now point to a means of claiming, and they will drag out refunding as long as they can get away with.

Indeed.

Many of them are on unpaid leave at the moment.

I’m getting so frustrated with not being able to ring for a refund, I understood in the early days and I’m happy to queue for hours but it won’t even let me queue! I have 8 flights I’m trying to get refunded

are they offering refunds now for that as when I tried before it was only moving them or a voucher

Can you request a refund online if you've booked a package with easyjet and do you have to get the official cancellation email?

Yes there is now an online form, details on this thread on the last few pages somewhere. You can do the legwork and find it.
