I can't see when I last posted (on mobile), so I,'m guessing today is NSD 6/20.
I have skyped one of my friends for an hour last night.
Grateful for:
- free bookkeeping/crm course through work (most parts of the course don' 't apply to my work, but it's a good workout for my brain).
- sunshine

Hi turtlees.Another day and I am still spending.Yesterday, the plumber arrived, thought he would just look at the job but did it there and then - New ballcock. Cost £65 pleased with that but only had £55 on me together with purseful of change, so tipped it all out and got let off about £6.No exercise yesterday but did climb up and down ladder to the loft passing fittings to plumber- does that count?Today - silly spend I didn't want baked beans or tomato soup all that was in my desk draw, instead walk around h bargains, cuppa soups haven't had them in years and bought fake flowers and fake little plant pot of flowers. Did buy one other day for £1.49 its so jolly, brightened up a dark corner. Never buy fake flowers but these are cute.Grateful forPlumbing job done,Today going quickly in workbeing happy soulLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/2210

NSD No 7
Spent the afternoon transferring bank accounts, utilities, etc and I reckon I'm going to be better off by about £200 a month. Why didn't I look into all of these things before? Because I'm a bit of a technophobe and don't think I'm capable of doing things online. I have to claim back some money from a Belgian train company because one of our trains was delayed. That has to be done online as well so I'll tackle that tomorrow. Quite a lot of big frogs eaten there.
Also did the online grocery order for our self catering holiday in March (another online frog). Not to be paid for until next month. A bit of tweeking will be required but I'm quite pleased with the plans. Just the two of us (unless the Boy decides to visit for a few days) so I think it should be a fairly cheap holiday. Accommodation and travel all paid and sorted. Hoping for lots of reading, walking and catching up with the new friends we've made over the last few years. Absolutely love the area. So peaceful compared to living in a town/city.
The weather has improved slightly here but, at least, not going out is forcing us to eat out of the freezers and stores and this week's food budget is more of less intact and I don't think much of it is going to be spent this week. Silver linings and all that!
I hope that nobody is suffering too badly in this weather. We have friends who live in Yorkshire and places around where they live are really struggling with flooding. They are abroad for a few months (for health reasons) so they are OK but I feel so sad when I see some of the lovely places that we visited having such a difficult time.
Himself is out tomorrow with friends so I have lots of things to do. Off to make a list.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.12 -

Operation 'All new CCL who is obsessed with her budget' continues. This price comparison thing is going to be too much hassle to shop in one session whilst I'm working, therefore I predict that nsd's are about to become things of the past, and I will instead be having lots of lsd's (unless I choose to take grocery shopping out of the nsd counting - I'll make the decision before mad March)
I have spent today marking year 11 mock exams, teaching, being far too cold and trying to diet. Followed by a very late finish at work, oh - and a trip to the pharmacy as ds has delighted me by getting wormsI have made dinner, done a load of washing, obsessed over the budget, had a shower and am now settling for the night. Onwards toward half term. I'm starting to fear that I may not make it... especially as I have parents evening tomorrow.

No spends again (haven't been anywhere except to DS3's school and back twice and the bus stop to take DS2 this morning), making NSD 6.
Booked a hair appointment - proper restyle at a place in town, as opposed to dry cut at local cheapy (not good) - not that cheap, but I have a 'BIG' birthday next month and I'm worth it!Only mascara and pefume - but will deep moisturise hands later, as they are beginning to crack.
Grateful for: my slippers, catch up tv, easy food after batch cooking, using things up, letting things go, getting more funeral things sorted, chocolate fingers (oops)

Today I am grateful for some extra work that went well, for my workout, for dd enjoying swimming, for Alaskan Bush people, for half term getting nearer.
