Today I am grateful for dd having a good day, for some good chats with pupils, for some extra work tomorrow, for avoiding the nasty weather and having a dry lunch duty, for dd finally finishing her sustainable city project - and it looks fab!

Monday, small spend today so still on 6/14 for NSDs.
Will get some moisturiser on before bed.
DD and I had a dance in the kitchen while pasta was boiling.
No snow here, but it's supposed to hit tomorrow - seems too mild but we'll see!
Gratitudes today - remembering to take batch cooked frozen sauce out of the freezer so just the time it takes to boil pasta to make tea (Monday is a full day at work for me, so it's late before I pick DD up from the childminder and get home, batch cooking is one time saving tip which I tend to stick to), missing the worst of the storm, having a student to teach at work- not officially part of my job but it sneaks in now and again and I really enjoy it.7 -

What a great idea to set up a price book for comparison! I may well start one myself. Thanks for the tip!

hi all
Another NSD for me - 4/14
I bought some bread from Mr C but used loyalty points so no actual spends. Also went to exercise class but pay for a course in one go so again no money handed over.
Gratitudes:
DD2 got safely to her boyfriends after an epic journey
DD2 managed to get herself to her therapy session and is overall feeling happier after being upset yesterday about various things
That I was brave, took the plunge and left my stressful job as I can see from Fakebook that my temporary replacement is having a similarly difficult time

NSD yesterday taking me to 5
. Today won't be as I'm going out for tea with friends - one of my dates. Yesterday I was grateful for a good workout at the gym, being cosy inside and OH.

Hello frugal pals. Today I’m grateful for friend coming for a cuppa, like a date but no spend! Another friend who has offered to come to an all day appointment with me for company and a fridge full of healthy food.
no spend day today.9 -
Sorry for missing check in yesterday. NSD number 7. Went to the district nurse appointment with mum and felt wiped out when I got back. Phoned the doctor's to check on the iron tablets mum has been prescribed (possible clash with other medication) and have to wait for a call back today. Took the sheets off the bed and washed them (nearly dried outside but got caught when it started to rain) but not much else done.Really poor night's sleep, back and forward to the bathroom (mum thinks I eat too many veg). Just back from visit to the optician, who started from mum NOT needing laser surgery and did his best to sell her new glasses. Left eye is blind but right is better than normal vision and no change from last test. Did give the lenses a good clean (something else to add to my checklist). Will have a follow up in 6 months to see if the cells have increased, to the point of needing the laser treatment. Optician said mum could legally drive but I said I'm not going in a car with her - she had never learnt to drive and is quite happy being chauffeured eveywhere.Had a phone back from the doctor's surgery, mum is going to take the iron tablets for now but we will monitor her for side effects and blood test is due in another 2 weeks so that should show any problems. Had a visitor from mum's church. Will be going home soon (too rushed this morning to pack things). Hopefully will be another NSD (just want to crawl back into bed) but need to sort out the drain problem and tidy up all the bits I left undone.Grateful for positive optician visit (and no spending), feeling more rested (still need more especially after bad night) and going home (despite the chaos that awaits). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7
