Morning all
Hope the weather does not do much harm to anyoneI was planning to go for a walk with my friend but we've changed it to a meet up at her house. I may attempt to walk there, depending on the weather.
Had a lovely day yesterday as DD2 and I went for coffee (first 'date' of this month) Then small shop in Mr T and DD2 got new phone contract - got one from Mr T at a lower price than current contract although I succumbed to getting costly insurance so need to check my own house insurance to see if I can cancel specific phone one?? DD1 is away dog sitting so we went to spend the evening with her which was lovely. As DD2 was in the car yesterday we did listen to different music and I may have had a little jiggle around the kitchen in the evening while washing up
Hope everyone has a good day

Thankful for mostly wind proof house and garden ... looking out of the kitchen window - I saw my neighbours pretty face through a square hole in the fence pane, don't know how it happened ... they were out fixing it, trying to keep it up I think. But really, surely it would be fine fixing it tomorrow when the wind is gone :-)
SO: Grateful for cake w ds yesterday in book shop, before dropping him off to train.

Hopefully the weekly and daily digests will reappear ditty. They have been requested on the Snagging Thread. The whole switchover is still very much a work in progress, and new things are still popping up daily. Things are working a little bit better, and to be honest I don't think whoever they got to switch it all over realised how many things were actually used, and how well the site worked before hand. Let's face it, I am def not the kind of normal 'chat room' type person. Us money savers do not tend to be the tech savvy 20 yr olds with flashy top of the range tech. It is at least working, even if it is not as pretty and individualistic as it was. All a bit utilitarian and stark. But it will come. We will find a way.

Scrap that - mine's just appeared! It doesn't show when I'm on my tablet, but I'm on the laptop now and voila! It's there.

Thats two fence panels gone so far, one on top of my garden furniture! Got to keep an eye out that the dog doesn't get lost/get under anything when out.
AND BTW by doing nothing about my debt except paying a low amount on DMP and trying to stay sensible otherwise Bingo 7.5 % gone. It's not much, I'm not celebrating - but it's something.
My EF has slightly recovered after a Christmas near meltdown and I've still got £100 in my budget account.

We seem to have missed the worst of the storm here. It rained consistently during the night and there were a few really heavy periods this morning but it seems to have stopped now. There's even blue sky and although it's windy it's nothing like we were expecting. Hope everyone who is not as lucky is staying safe.
NSD No 5 and I have managed to tick a lot of things off the massive list. Still lots to go though.
Thought we were going to have to go out tomorrow as Himself has a hospital appointment. No. He got it wrong. It's Thursday when I have arranged to visit my sister in law. It's no problem for me to go on my own but I really am going to have to get all his dates from him to put in my paper diary otherwise he's going to miss something important. Does anyone else have a paper diary? My son thinks it's hilarious that I have one and that I must be the only person in Britain who does! And as for my many notebooks, pens and lists. It baffles him why I don't just put them on my phone. I like notebooks and pens. I'm convinced that one day, not too far away, people will have forgotten how to write (and count). I'm just an old fashioned soul.

I do! I have a paper diary, and a paper wall hanging calendar, and a whole clipboard full of rescued A4 paper to write lists on the back of letters and school memos, and god knows what else. I have a list of things to do each day, and if I don' t get them done, they go onto the next day's list. My dh & kids all rely on their phones, and always have to ask me when they are supposed to be somewhere, or look confused when I tell them I will miss them, when they have forgotten where they are supposed to be. So let them laugh Toni'sfriend. All it takes is one 'update' for their calendar to fall apart. - my phone has lost all my contacts twice in January, then 72 hours later they are all back again. Pouf! Nobody knows phone numbers anymore either. DH does not even know the house phone number. I despair!
