Have walked into town with DH this morning, we took a flask of coffee, some nutty bars and a sandwich but we did buy a portion of chips to share for lunch. The weather was gorgeous, we sat by the canal and watched the geese and ducks. Bought some silicone muffin cases, dark chocolate, cherry sweets, a lunchbox, a fitted sheet for DS's bed and a pair of Adidas running capris. We also bought a Greggs vegan steak bake each for the walk home, they were nice but too pricey at £1.55 each imo. We spent about £15 in total and walked about 10 miles as we came back the very long but very pretty way.Got the washing dry on the line whilst out. Called into the opticians to see if DD's glasses were ready instead of going after school Tuesday for them, they are so we will get those when she finishes work today.I have found a milkman too, I will be getting my milk delivered from next Wednesday, 3 times a week in glass. Another source of plastic that won't be coming into our house anymore.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I wish I could get my soy milk in a glass bottle. The coughing has dramatically worsened, so the date with the museum has been cancelled and we will try again later.

Examine your wardrobe, . - nothing bought.dust off your cds, listen and decide if you still want to keep them. -still need to go through CDs
dance outrageously every day. Sing loudly. Have done something to my knee, so not bopping at mo. Lots of singing, though
They "dated," - make at least 3 dates this month - none yet, unless DS2's parents eve and then chippy takeaway after counts....
make an effort even if it is just clear mascara or moisturising daily moisturised daily. Even wore make up twice! - only because I was going to work!Perfume every day, though
It is a short month, aim for a minimum of 14 NSDs - 4
Grateful for fluffy slippers, non-drafty doors and windows, choc fingers, central heating, DS2 passing something with cadets today, meaning he doesn't have to go back tomorrow (yippee!)
No chain food takeaways/ drinks bought. Did have local chippy for dinner on Weds.

I wish it showed me if I had already thanked someone instead of me only working it out by the number of thanks reducing by 1...Anyhow, today I am grateful for a really long night's sleep, for dd waking up happy, for the rugby, for getting some needlefelting done again, for teamwork sharing the driving on what could have been really manic, for this evening being dd's final performance - phew!

Ha ha - if I thank myself, it doesn't register it! A pop up tells me that I can't react to my own post!

Spent £19.24 on my day out with my friend today including lunch and coffee. Stuck quite rigidly to the list I had and whilst I was tempted with more wool I did not buy any. Got some reduced things I was looking for at Bee Emm and also some £land things I wanted as well. I can be a savvy sale shopper.
Today I'm grateful for good friends offering honest and helpful advice (my friend today irl and the lovely f0xh0les on here).
Grateful for being finished the short term exam marking, and my planner which keeps me on the straight and narrow...

Not going to be a NSD today - despite the (curerently) 55mph winds I'd like to get to Tesc0 for some bits n pieces - but not planning on going until after lunch, when it should apparently have calmed down out there. (Am also hoping that lots of people won;t have ventured out so there might be some decent YS items!!
)
Stay safe, turtlesx

The wind is howling down my chimney - making a heck of a noise.2/3rds of the aerials are still on the roof. One is dangling about like a drunk trapeze artist. As yet no tiles off the roof (whoopee! emoji).4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Morning all,Today will be NSD3, as the weather is awful and I shan't be going anywhere. Not even the Sunday market we usually go to. Instead I shall do some much needed cleaning and make a Thai chicken curry from ingredients I already have in.8

Hope everyone is ok in this weather. It is battering the back of our house and is managing to find its way into two of our windows so we have towels on the window sills. We have a lot of trees in our garden and they are going a bit crazy, quite scary really.
