Unexpected NSD (8). Took books back to the library and there was one I took to the desk to pay for. It had a beetroot accident (so did two of my bags for life and am hoping I can rescue my organic cotton duvet cover and various sheets that got a splash. Anyway the assisstant said I didn't need to pay for it, it was an old book and the damage was accidental (I had it double bagged and when it stained the first bag I triple bagged it before putting it in the second bag for life. Would normally never put books and food in the same bag but had about 6 bags and 2 suitcases to take to mum's and ended up dropping things in as I remembered them).Going to but mum one bottle of milk before I go back there this evening, ready for tomorrow's appointment. Not sure what is happening after that. It should be my day off so may get dropped in town centre on the way back. Ideally I could do with mum dropping my off and saying I can have Friday/Saturday/Sunday off (she will have the hairdresser and a mid-afternoon visitor tomorrow and two visitors on Saturday) as I can feel myself fading fast. Have made progress with the drains. It is not as complicated as before but will involve bailing out. Think it's possible that the strong winds came down the soil stack and pushed toilet paper back through to the kitchen drain. May explain what needs doing to those two and leave them to it.Today I am grateful for kind library assistants, for food from the freezer and for some new library books (wasn't going to get any more for the time being but couldn't resist. I had already read 3 of the last lot but as I was so ill, I enjoyed reading them again (needed undemanding stuff). Think I will explain the drain solution to them and then be kind to myself by arranging things in my bedroom and rewriting the lists now that nearly everything has been done (have put reminders in my diary including piggybacking collecting blood forms and getting the tests done onto 2 of the district nurse appointments). I still have portions of beef stew and beef curry that mum wants me to bring back, in mum's freezer (and maybe one or two portions of the parsnips I froze when they were ys before Xmas. That should see me through most of next week. I left part of a toast loaf there which will do me breakfast tomorrow and supper tonight if I want it and I put apples and celery in her shed.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

Well, I suppose if you don't go out you don't spend!
Himself decided to stay in today as well so that scuppered my cleaning plans etc. Still we're eating what we have in and I do believe I'm seeing a bit of space emerging in the freezer. Store cupboard is another matter, though. I won't even go into that.

Don't know Dotty, the snagging thread is still going nuts about all the problems people are finding - some of them are down to directionality on phones/tablets/ipads, others are the o/s.Today was NSD6 as the tv aerial chap was a total chancer and quoted over £500 for a new aerial. Twit. All food from stores, ds1 made scones after college, house clean and tidy still. Candles lit. Two more days of lunchboxes until 9 days of respite.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

My issues are when I use my tablet to look at posts. Aha! Just remembered that I get an error message on my laptop if I try to open a page at around 5pm. Must be tea break time...Today I am grateful for leaving early enough to not be delayed too much by daft roadworks, for the offer of some extra work for about 8 weeks, for doing some yoga, for the croci still doing their best, for a very positive meeting with my Head, for being able to meet dd after school, for her latest report being ab fab!Eta: just opened this up to edit and all seems fine...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8
