My buttocks still hurt from hilly walk on Sunday, keep moving around office it hurts sitting down
Congrats Mistara on being an Auntie.:T
Curious as what SWMBO stands for as well?

Might pop out to Home Bargains as I need a few things seeing lost my NSD today.

Evening all,
Babysitting today, and I haven't been out due to the weather, very icy this morning, with fog as well. The ice went off by the afternoon (for the first time in several days) but it is still really cold and foggy.
So NSD 9 / 16Not sure if I will get to 16, as generally little and often shopping suits me, but we will see. It has been a pretty spendy month due to buying a new laptop and renewing OH's passport, so it suits me to keep costs down for the rest of the month. We have plenty of food in, but will have to buy potatoes and fruit at some point.
Grateful today for fun with my little grandson (though exhausting :rotfl:), warm house and plenty of food.0 -
Today I am grateful for better sleep, for dh doing the shopping, for my counsellor, for dh chauffeuring me around, for an easy trip to the orthodontist with dd, for a warm coat, for swede mash, for headspace, for 85% choc!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Have none of you ever watch Rumpole (of the Bailey) - She Who Must Be Obeyed (his wife).
NSD 12 and 4 years to retirement.
Today I amd grateful for primulas, good food (cooked by me) and being at home and sitting down (after standing up cooking and ferrying bags full of tins into the back room - using mum's walker but lifting them on and off).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
misstara - congratulations to your sister.
I had two ebay sales on Sunday night and the money from those has paid for my new walking trousers. I had another sale yesterday which left me with a fiver after fees (I sold it just so someone could get good use from it rather than languishing in my cupboard rather than for any financial gain) so I ordered a set of 3 funnels, these were a need I felt as we are buying bulk items and storing in various jars and these will help avoid spills.
Cycled again yesterday, am building it back up slowly so only did about 10 miles - it was enough. Took dog for a walk in the woods and will hopefully do that again today, will run today too.
Grocery shop coming this morning, very small shop as we have lots in and our grocery budget had almost run out, I have left a small amount back for the greengrocers.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

NSD 10/16 yesterday. Hopefully another today as well.
I am grateful for the days of bright sunshine we have had, for help with my Brownie accounts from the district commissioner, for lovely vegan ice cream, for the amazing sound of three trees full of Starlings, for the brilliant library system here that lets you look through the catalogues of every library in the country, reserve whatever you like to pick up from whichever branch suits you and then return books to whichever branch suits you (no matter where in the country and it doesn't have to be the one you got it from!).NST January Turtles number 250 -
Afternoon all, quickly checking in during a lull at work. I went to the dentist yesterday after work to check my chipped tooth, dentist said it was fine so no work needed, just had to pay for the checkup and can claim 50% back through my cash plan.
Got some news about a course I wanted to do, turns out it's three times more than I was expecting in terms of cost, I want to do it but I'm not sure if I can justify spending the best part of £1500 on something that would only ever be a most likely unpaid side venture to my main job. The volunteering I was going to do alongside it appears to have fallen through as well so it's all up in the air. Need to have a think, sometimes I just get too ahead of myself with plans and get carried away without thinking stuff through.
Today should be another NSD, managing quite well this month and not panicking, small victories! Have also managed the gym every day this week, am feeling it now but tomorrow is a rest day.0 -
Today I can claim a NSD, tried to get a butternut squash but failed so carrots will be used up instead in a Malaysian curry NSD 10/16 I could do this!
Just been asked if I want to volunteer at night shelters next 2 months, to be honest I don't. Happy to help few hrs at weekend daytime. Being tad shelfish, I would like to do more for me, exercise and chill out on couch evenings. I would need to do some training first and I think I am busy with work, grandkids as it is. Will find out whats involved before I say no.
Grateful for
Back and leg pain eased today.
