Hmm happy day as supply teacher in ds school w fairly well behaved students.
Now chilling w my little dog before cooking dinner and swimming, an thinking about walking over to C00p to look for reduced stuff for dinner.
Uni son is at home writing his essays, will bring him back Saturday after his birthday. 2 decades - what an amazing feast it's been so far.
Had a conversation w real estate agent, it is possible he was just being nice, but he said it is possible to apply for mortgage after being on a DMP for over a year! So time to start raking in some money for a deposit. Haha. It's inspiring though.

Getting back into the swing of things is a challenge, but I'm grateful that I feel super motivated.

Not quite a NSD as paid for parking and £5.5 for top up lunch stuff and cheese for my pizza. Somebody had finished the cheddar, the gorgonzola and the left over mozzerella so had to get reinforcement. In C00p you have to buy 2 bags of mozzerella to get them at the same price as at ALdi so for 5.50 I sorted dinner, lunches for the rest of the week and an other dinner for 3 people, seems OK to me. Not very vegan though :)

    Grateful for lovely swimming coaches.

    Afternoon all :)
Did our first supermarket shop since before Christmas (and it wasn't a big one). Also had my hair cut, so still on NSD 3 / 16.
Pulled everything out of a large old trunk in the spare room, now got to sort it through and put back what I intend to keep. But I have spotted at least 3 items that can go. Two are good only for the bin, but there is a new net curtain that can go to the CS (not a fan of net curtains, don't know where it came from...)
Grateful today for a much needed haircut and the stove which OH has just lit :)

Today I have felt like wonder woman :rotfl:.

I did another tough bodyrock workout (cos after next tues, I'll not be able to do them for 4-6 weeks), went swimming when dd had her lesson, and walked over 15k steps. Am feeling smug!

Today I am grateful for being able to move and do so much, for my counsellor, for sainz still having schar curvies in stock, for new silicone oven gloves, for dd quite enjoying her day, for the brand new leisure centre - it is pretty awesome, for being inside on a windy night.

  • I’ve ditched my Bananaman cape, and been on a spending rampage!!!!
Out and about today, picked up click and collect clothes, but will be returning them.
Found a dress £5 and pants £7 in discount shops, were on the list to buy
Then went crazy and bought an Xmas decoration £1, monster munch £1 and two packs of fry’s orange creme bars (£2) they're my faaaaaave....I felt like Ritchey Rich gadding about the shops buying whatever I please.
Another bay sale today, before my shopathon I was actually cost neutral for this month so far. Must stay resolute- a friend is planning a visit, another is planning a birthday. These are what is important to spend money on- not sweets, treats, things I don’t really need etc

Today I-am thankful for- feeling much better, paid time off, my family

  • I will retrieve my cape and dust it down, have been very lax about posting, but my life has been very money saving, so busy working I've not had time to spend so on 5/16 NSDs. I have booked and paid for weekend away in February, and have an aim of reducing my good spending this month and next to cover spending money while we're away.
My gratitudes for the week, spending time with some much loved but rarely seen family members, that the weather here may not be great but we're safe and not in any climate related danger, work is busy and enjoyable most of the time, DD had settled back into the school routine, fun times with friends.
Q; have been studying my last few months of bank statements online, I can reduce my weekly spending I just need to be more organised-food waste WILL reduce! I
U; this is well timed, in on a decluttering mission, I'm aiming for a (large) box of stuff leaving every week on top of normal rubbish/recycling.
E; dog gets walks, horse gets ridden, DD gets played with, other exercise not so much but I have 10kg to shift and I want it gone this year so dog walks will be getting longer and faster (poor old pup hopefully won't complain)
S; food waste, plastic waste, extra spending! 3 very small sets of words but if I can sort all 3 it will make a big difference
    T; see above.
Think that's all for now, will try and post more regularly from now on to keep my superhero focus on track!

Wow apple. You must be pretty fit which should hold you in good stead for your procedure.

Sent kids on the bus today so a spend there. I am having a grocery delivery early today as I have a dentist appointment - great - and an opticians appointment so a spendy day indeed.

Had good chats with two of DD's teachers at parents evening last night and she has a plan with her English teacher to get her grade up, to be fair to her all her targets are very high and the grade she is achieving is high but they are tough with them to get the results they expect, she also got the go ahead to do four A levels which made her very happy.
