:eek: To having a hose out the top of your head mothernerd.
Apple - they are in our local Mr M's shopping emporium as well. I saw them! Free from aisle

I have just spent £ 17 in Mr A's on the way home from the morning school run- only went in for a loaf (got 3 ys loaves though) Grrr :wall: I should not need to shop again before the weekend. I have enough. Vegetable soup made and ready for starving kids when they get home. The snacking stops here. Real food time (bit like Hammer Time but even baggier drop crotch trousers).:dance::j:j:dance::dance: Love a good kitchen dance.

Happy Wednesday Turtles. Normality has resumed.

Went mad cleaning the house yesterday, did a really good thorough job, so today is the turn of the kitchen and pantry. Big job. Best get on with it eh? I can have a reward of a cup of tea when I have it half finished. Rock n Roll!

Mum phoned last night as some of her medicnes did not arrive in yesterday's package and she thought I might be going to the doctor's today - well I wasn't but I have been. Lovely doctor still not seeing patients (think she might have broken confidentiality rules last time when she told me he was off sick) so took the choice of the prescribing nurse from the available options.

Gabbled through my ten minute appointment (can have a double apppointment but only in the afternoons) to get medicine review, blood pressure, MH review and a form for blood and other tests (should be done 3 monthly) then blood test forms for mum and a prescription for her eye gel and tablets to stop the shingles attacking her remaining good eye. I asked if we could have 3 of the eye gel as it's now used for both eyes (nurse had prescribed 3 x 2 regular tubes - it will get used).

Collected forms from receptionist and then filled the prescription downstairs. Caught little bus to mum's. It was turning into a dear do (taxi to infirmary and then £2 each way to mum's and back home) but mum gave me a £10 note to cover it. But another 3 - 4 hours of my life I won't get back. Had onion soup, half the remaining egg and peanut roll and a chocolate biscuit at mum's (had taken my own drinks to the doctor's).

My left shoulder is incredibly painful this morning. I wasn't lifting mum yesterday but was letting her use that arm to pull/ push herself up. Have had ibruprofen and sprayed it but it's only just starting to become tolerable. Back on the bed with my book and laptop and may have a little snooze this afternoon.

I have things to do but they can wait.

Today I am grateful for seeing a tiny baby on the bus (he was asleep), for seeing one of mum's neighbour's and her little dog (thought the red spotty coat was for the dog but it was for her baby - friend had given her the dog to hold whilst she got the baby out of the car and for a successful appointment (blood and other tests and picking up the owed prescription items have all been listed to do under the audiology apppointment next Tuesday).

If I don't get back later it's because I'm asleep.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday, had to work later than planned and didn't get time to come on last night.

Managed a NSD yesterday and today so am now up to 5/18. My fitbit stopped working before Christmas and I checked through my paperwork and found I'd taken out a replacement guarantee policy when I bought it, so I called up and got a brand new one sent out. Definitely glad I took that policy out in hindsight. I also arranged some training which I'll have to pay for but I'm looking forward to it, it links in with the volunteering I'm going to be doing.

I've also been to the gym the last two days and plan to go tomorrow and Friday. Also had a good walk today to and from two different meetings in different buildings.

Today I'm grateful for being able to walk to meetings, making plans to move forwards with my goals and enjoying exercise.

NSD today, I’ve lost count how many!? Will have to read my older posts.
Now feeling well, so went out for a 2 hour walk today! Listened to some podcasts.
Did a bit of cleaning and tidying, so I’m now in a good spot to do a bit more planning and organising over the next few days. Was pleased with myself for using up leftovers for a nice lunch.
Today I’m grateful for - it not raining, feeling well, biscuits!

Wonder woman does not bounce... I was defeated by some mud on the pavement today...

Today I am grateful for the people I work with, for dh earning some pennies, for dd's pretzel order turning up, for dd trotting home by herself, for bumping into a neighbour for a chat, for a hot bath, for a good book (timetravel, this one).

    Evening everyone :)

    Sorry for no check-in yesterday...

    Yesterday I was grateful for:

    1) Overcoming my exercise block and getting to the gym
    2) My morning meditation and the people that are behind Headspace
    3) For my Zen Tarot and the insights they give me

    And today...

    1) My little home and corner of the Universe
    2) A stable income
    3) All the luxuries I enjoy... a warm throw to snuggle under, a comfy sofa, a TV and computer, a bed, warm clothing...

I am definitely on a roll... bagged yesterday and today as NSD's:

    Today = NSD :starmod: 7

So yep... I got to the gym yesterday. Was rammed... but at least I did something. What is this bodyrock work-out Apple? I'm with Dolly84 - you sound super fit! 15k steps!!!

I'm having lots of insights daily and my morning routine is helping me so much processing my anxiety and mood swings! For anyone that struggles with life I really recommend trying some mindfulness and journaling. It is revolutionising my life.

Off to bed now - but will be back here tomorrow. Keep going folks... we are doing great!!! ;)

  • Evening everyone
Been a very hectic week with one late night and one early morning. However, I have finally finished my FT job!! It's been hugely stressful and horrible and I am so glad I am done there. Some of my colleagues are lovely though and we got each other through very difficult times.
Today I got taken out for lunch and was given some lovely gifts.
DD2 is home from uni for the night as she has a hospital appointment tomorrow. It is lovely to have her home for a brief while.
Spent a little money as treated myself to a new mug to take to my new job.
    Gratitudes:
Some lovely colleagues who were very supportive
Nice gifts including a M$S voucher
    DDs both at home

    Nite everyone
